Garner said post match that a couple of players have been told they can leave. I think we all know Bennett is one of them but who is the other? You would think it was probably someone who didn't feature today. I think we can rule out Tom Davies because nobody will sign a player who is out injured for 6 months. We can rule out Westbrooke. So am I right in thinking that just leaves Ogogo?
Of course I could be wrong, it might turn out to be someone who played today.
Little I reckon. I’d be amazed if it were, especially seeing as we’re looking like shaping up in a back 3 and he can play either as a CB or wingback. You may be right, though!

Surprised no Westbrooke today but I reckon the absence of Ogogo and Bennett could mean the end for them. Very impressed with Little today and particularly Upson who was excellent.I have always said that Upson iis a good player but couldn't play with Ollie Clarke because they were both in the same space. It was a controlled performance where we dominated totally the first half and the eleven changes at half time did make a big difference. Thought all the centre halves looked excellent and personally would build the team around Annsi, Ehmer,Upson and JCH. I have a good feeling about this season and it will be interesting to see how the side develops against better opposition but also in cooler conditions and on a better pitch. It was the sort of game where when you go 2 up in such a heat you stroll around rather than overdo it. I was very impressed with the second half substitute for Manor Farm . Don't know anything about him but he looked pacy ,skilful and a good attitude and workrate.

Nothing ventured nothing gained !!

Age, how long he's been at the club etc. I noticed he scored against Hallen in their first friendly, but had never heard of him before that. Not even listed on the Bristol Manor Farm squad list on the Southern League website.

OK, what I meant by leggy in this case is ungainly and awkward, he didn’t move like a professional footballer. I believe there is work to be done. Hopefully the coaching staff can improve him to an acceptable level. A bit like Devon White then Yeah, Bruno has stick legs that seemed to stay straight and didn’t bend at the knees.

Barrett still looks like he could do with shedding a few pounds! http://instagram.com/p/CDokgT-sqG6 Photo from today's game. Not sure how much more you want him to lose?? If you look back at a photo further down his page, he looks a lot slimmer already. Unfortunately he might put it on again now that he's injured, as he won't be burning the calories and it's easy to comfort eat.

He genuinely looked decent, dribbled past a few rovers players on occasion and looked calm in possession, no harm in offering him a trial.

I don't know what that picture is supposed to prove, he still doesn't look fit enough to me. Maybe he should find some better fitting shorts or something, because they looked so tight there was a chance they would split at the seams today.

Hopefully the coaching staff can improve him to an acceptable level. I assume BG has seen some potential in the lad so he probably just needs a bit of time. Let's hope he doesn't become the new Miss it Blissett!! 1-0

I’d be amazed if it were, especially seeing as we’re looking like shaping up in a back 3 and he can play either as a CB or wingback. You may be right, though! Little has offered us little so far, out due to injury a lot and when he played he looked either massively unfit or his legs were gone. I can’t remember who signed him but he came here with a good record and is probably on a reasonable league 1 wage. Holmes Dennis has left , very good player injury prone little never looked anywhere as good and is also injury prone .

What makes you think we'll like up with a back 3? I think all the evidence points to a back 4 so interested to hear why so many think we might go this way.

Thought he was moving across the pitch a lot quicker than before, that's how he pulled his hamstring. He's built that way. Moan because he's got a big but 😂. Heard it all now. He played some good passes today, that 90% of player's wouldn't see at this level. That photo prices he has actually lost weight.

I don't know who you are trying to kid, he played a few passes that you would expect any competent league one midfielder to make, he also gave the ball away cheaply a couple of times. It's pre-season, that's what happens. I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, Barrett is a talented player with a lot of ability and potential, but as i see it the only way he'll fulfil that potential and perform to the best of his ability is If he can get to peak fitness and condition. Hopefully for the start of the season he will be somewhere near that.

What makes you think we'll like up with a back 3? I think all the evidence points to a back 4 so interested to hear why so many think we might go this way. Garner switched back to the 3-5-2 defensive screen , wing backs type style that had served us so well under cogs v Sunderland , our last competitive game. Maybe that’s it ? Certainly with the squad we had last season that was our best formation , the fact that we were 3rd in the league half way through proves that. But this is a new season , we might go 3-5-2 in many games this season but I don’t think Garner will play three defensive midfielders in front of a back 3. He’s got the players now to play a more expansive game where as last season he didn’t and Coughlan didn’t before him. Watching us try and play pretty football through midfield with the likes of olly Clarke , upson and Ogogo as our midfield 3 was painful to watch , all good hardworking players but never going to work as a trio in a footballing side. We might have done a Wycombe if Coughlan had stayed but he didn’t and now we move forward . Also now we’ve signed Nicholson and Lawson on loan I’d imagine we’ll be playing wide men either side of ( hopefully) JCH and perhaps another forward a lot of the time . Rodman is also a good wide man who I think is underrated by most of our fanbase.

Thought Barrett did ok. No worse or better than a few others.Looked pretty confident in possession and would not say he was any less fit than most others. Upsons first half performance was by quite a distance the best on the pitch and we definitely missed his assurance in the second half.

Paid my fiver, registered. All I get is a black page with "Embedding is disallowed on this page". Any ideas? You need to use Chrome browser will not work in Safari I had this issue with my iPad Pro yesterday but, using Safari, if you just go into private browsing mode then it works just fine, I googled the problem and that was the solution. On yesterday’s game I thought Walker, Kelly and Nicholson had a really good first half , Ehmer just looks the captain role tbh. Disappointed not to see Westbrooke but it was well worth a fiver to watch!
