He's been impressive in every pre-season game he's played, lets just hope he stays fit once the season gets underway. Just need to sign a decent CF to complete the puzzle, I know money talks but you do wonder why JCH jumped ship just when we actually seem to be going places, if we can find a goalscorer we could well finish above P'boro unless JCH goes goal crazy. |

The way the Nicholson transfer unravelled I thought he was gonna be a massive let down. The CV seemed far to exotic and too be good to true. But he looks a talent.

I'd be happy with 0-0 at this rate however it would be nice for someone to pop up and give us a confidence boosting win against a half decent Cardiff Team

I'm not gonna lie, I'm getting a wee bit excited by this team. Playing some great stuff. Fingers crossed we can carry this sort of high-press and stylish passing game into the full season. Just need another striker to replace JCH and I'll be feeling very positive.

if we can deliver that level of intensity in the league it will be a great season. Just a striker required but let's see what happens in the second half

What sort of side have Cardiff got out? They’ve not even mentioned the game on their Twitter? Is it a development side? Just seen Curtis Nelsons name mentioned so I’m guessing not? Welsh international Kieffer Moore is playing, along with another regular in their side, Paterson. |

Very encouraging then. I was a bit worried people were getting excited about us playing good football against a development side. But being well on top against a team that made the Championship playoffs last season gives every reason to be excited. |
