Not sure it will be clear for some time, possibly getting messy with legal challenges.
Personally I do feel Biden will be better for the UK/Europe rather than Trump although the latter does make Boris appear almost statesmanlike.
At the moment I'd say Biden but apparently Trump is catching up.

The sad thing is, here they are, the Americans, arguing about the polls whilst Trump gets away with a policy free offer, making it up as he goes along. I am shocked at the deterioration in society there since I lived there. I thought Reagen was bad as a fact free zone, but Trump supporters out on the streets armed, intimidating a Biden rally in Georgia, hassling Bidens campaign bus, threatening to turn up tomorrow at polling stations. Trump has unleashed the virulent armed nationalists to the point that America resembles a Banana Republic more each passing day. Hopefully over the next 48 hours the rational majority will rid this clown from political influence. |

From the outside it looks like a powder keg primed to go off, but there has been sooooo much tedius discourse over the last 4 years it's hard to see any real protests either way, just expecting a lot of social media release valve anger. |

The question is Does Trump's core base, people blind enough to catch the bubonic plague for him, make up a significant amount of the record 90,000,000 people already voted. Do they make up a significant amount of the 100,000s of mail in votes yet to be counted. There is a reason Trump and his lawyers have been running around the country trying to get the courts to deny States counting those votes. There is a reason why Trump has encouraged his armed militia supporters to man the polling stations today. Fascism starts from a place like this. |
