BG will need to get results as we have now a really young squad that if it works then the future looks so promising. Wael must be looking long term but will Gas Heads have the patience to stand by BG know matter what comes.

Patience isnt in the make up of many people connected to football these days. Within the game, or on the terraces.

I've read he's 5'7", so centre back? Naturally left footed will help, but I thought a priority would be striker type of player? Nevertheless, for 2 years at least, welcome... I don't get it either. We're going all in with young inexperienced players. We are the new Wycombe Wanderers! It's like we have a team of Choirboys and BG is the conductor. Or vicar. With EFL taking the role of the church.

I said to my wife we were going to sign someone and she asked who it was. I said we’re going to have to wait-Rose until 5pm to find out.

Ben obviously isn't Budgen from his policy of signing young players.

I said to my wife we've signed another midfielder that can play in defence, and she asked if it was as insane as Rochdale's?
I said no, it's as sane-as-bury's.

Welcome to the gas Ben. I hope it works out well for you and us. Work hard, give 100% and do your best and you’ll get plenty of support. Score 6 goals from midfield and that would help! UTG!

Shout out to Hugh something on here for calling it. Must say I was a bit more excited before when he said ‘we’re signing a championship midfielder’. Still, can’t judge him until we’ve seen him. Would really like a striker tbh, that’s what 8 CMs now? Didn’t Ben want a squad of 20? He’s nearly got that just in CM 😂 Hugh Jarsole Sorry I couldn't give any more details I can tell you we are now actively searching for a striker, though I don't know any resounding interest in any one striker at this time

The only logic is if it allows a couple of our young midfielders to go out on loan an gain experience. If a couple go out on loans needs to be a national league level or above in my view.

Boro fan tells me he's 6 foot Frosty, Bristol Live: "I'm 22, I want to come and play men's football and get as many games under my belt as I can." The 5ft 7in midfielder brings vision, a range of passing and balance to the Gas midfield being naturally left-footed. He will compete with Zain Westbrooke, Josh Grant, Ed Upson and Tom Mehew for one of the two holding roles in Garner's 3-4-2-1 system.
