If Leahy starts we lose ....As they will target his inability to defend.

Thank Heavens we have Anssi at least we are not handing them a soft goal start
Hare and Tutonda getting forward regularly..Solid Back three of Ehmer + Harries + Baldwin
Energetic Midfield competing when we don't have the ball and linking with the two Strikers (albeit wont be a surprise if he plays Hanlan on his own with Nicholson / JML trying to support.
We might manage a draw possibly can't see much else ... Really depends which of our guys turns up as a few have been passengers so far this season.

I think we’ll continue to mature as a team and get something from the game.... 1-1 is my prediction with a good performance.... we’ll follow that up with a win next week and things will be looking a lot healthier and hopefully some of the questions of BG will be answered and we can all unite on the football rather than the manager

I believe the Imps are keeping there selection under wraps as they have an injury list, I said ore season a 1-1 draw, and nothing since has made me change my mind. They have only scored only twice from open play, considering they suppose to be a passing team nowadays,
They are second from bottom for pass completion rate,
If we develop into the game and push them back where most of the opposition has not done so far( Liverpool being the exception) I believe we can put them under unknown pressure
So I repeat 1-1 scoreline for me.

I recall going to Leyton Orient in the 2015/16 season where we were easily beaten by a superior side. That win made it 5/5 in the league for them, as I left the ground to chants of “we are going up” from the joyous locals.
We went on to be promoted and they finished 15th or so.
Lincoln will set a club record today with 3 points but will also lose at some stage & no better time than this afternoon.
2-1 Rovers, Baldwin & Hanlan.

In recent seasons we have had a good record against Lincoln at the Sinclil Bank. I think we can get something out of this game. And it will be very quiet there as there will be no Air RAID siren going off.

I'm lost for words how about 10 Gasheads on here seem more interested in BG than the club and the team and because of that everything they write is NEGATIVE. BG is the manager - I don't love him/ don't hate him and we know he's probably going to lose his job in 2 years' time or sooner, like the average manager. I think we'll draw or win today. We shouldn't worry too much that Lincoln have won their first 4, look at Hull last night - won their first 4 and got thumped 4 -1. I think it's a shame Ayunga is injured as I think he can positively influence games whether starting or sub, but I think the players' confidence is growing and we can do well today. UTG ! |
