When oldgas is in the gulgag, we might let him know the rovers results, maybe give him some left over match pie (if he is badly behaved we'll give him double the pie)

Relax, I've known your motives for a while, they are amusing though maybe not as you intended.😉 Having said that, I do feel sorry for those who were willing to debate with you like 365 and took the time and effort with the understanding you would extend that to them in return. Just comes across a bit rude. Yep, guilty as charged. I wondered why oldgas had been labelled as a troll, by his own admission he seems to be on a wind up and the content of his posts does nothing to dis-spell that either. More fool me! It’s strange when you consider that I’ve said it’s wrong that the H of C has subsidised restaurants and bars, and that I think they should be closed. I think that post was studiously ignored because I questioned why Labour, Lib Dums And SNP members have not refused to use these facilities during this period of intense child starvation, and also pointed out that not one of the 2-faced assholes had demanded their closure. Its difficult when people won’t engage. Like Oldie who won’t discuss Harriet Harman.

Right lads, we can’t get the better of him because he’s always got an answer, so what we’ll do is gang up on him and accuse him of being a sad troll. If you think this thread reads like you getting the better of everyone and not some sort of angry meltdown, you and I have rather different opinions of how this is generally getting on. You announced your own exit from this section not five days ago and yet you decided to return and engage. Plenty have engaged you!

For someone trying to wind people up, he's very good at getting wound up himself.
But wait, I thought he left he because he felt he was getting wound up?
A day in the life...

As I’ve said, I couldn’t care less. The Tories have an 80 seat majority. What about the trade deal signed with Japan this week. Slipped your minds has it? Apparently the EU are worried they’re going to lose £30 million a year in trade with the UK.

Really seems like you couldn't care less, stormed off claiming you were being wound up, tried baiting people in the stadium thread, called for a marxist corner and posting 30 messages a day - yeah, you're not bothered at all. You've dug yourself a lovely little hole that you're frantically digging to get out of. Do you expect me to be impressed with a government that has managed to sign a deal with a country (Japan) that the EU already has? What about the deal where 60% of our trade comes from? Or did you forget we haven't actually signed a deal yet? Elephant in the room and all that, guess its hard to add all those deals up on one hand. EU probably are worried about losing £30m of trade, whats worrying is that we're not worried about losing 60% of our imports and 50% of our exports. Only an idiot wouldn't be bothered by that. Are you not bothered by that?

The trade deal with Japan that’s pretty much exact the same one we had apart from a bit of blue cheese ? 😂 Also , you’ve been reading the Express / Mail / Sun too much if you buy the other rubbish ! They’ll be one big loser and that will be us . Sunlit uplands my arse Ps you forget to mention that Germany stands to lose less than 1% in exports , the UK 15% (115 billion) .

Are you not bothered by that? I didn’t bait anyone in the stadium thread. All I was trying to do was inject a little realism. I don’t know how many times I have to say this, I don’t care what you all think about Brexit, the fact is we’re leaving and the fact is we’ve just signed a deal with Japan. It’s also a fact that Europe will still want to trade and a deal will be sorted out. But, be a Remainer if you want, it really doesn’t matter, you lost.

You tried, but failed spectacularly, I was quite embarrassed for you. It's also a fact that we don't have a deal yet and until we get a good one, the government has failed. There is no you vs us, thats very primal thinking, although not surprising. We're the same country, we all want a good deal for the UK - but no wonder you consider yourself different to other people, after all you're so generous you brag about giving spare change to homeless and food banks in supermarkets every other week. Embarrassing really.

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde "Oldgas, went from child to idiotic old man, without any intervening period of education and assimilation of knowledge" Sad life.

Game changing stuff that is.

Never mind that the UK is already enjoying the benefits of the EU-Japan trade deal that is just about to be wiped away with a hard Brexit through the back door.

You know at this point I’m almost hoping for a hard Brexit to reveal what a catastrophic decision leaving the European Union was to the economy and people’s livelihoods.
Maybe then some people might wake and realise that the red tops feed them lies and votes for populism and Tory governments lead to nothing but misery and despair.
