Deserved that, very poor 2nd half. Without exception none of the players played as well as they have recently, perhaps that is down to Hull's performance / quality, but I think we gave them too much respect and played with no pace or passion. Disappointing after a start like that. Dust ourselves down and give Rochdale a beating Saturday, hopefully.

What's that supposed to mean? This place can be unreal at times.

We need to learn how to see games out after taking the lead. Every time we score we drop deep and invite pressure!
Not the end of the world, still backing us to challenge for play-offs this year. UTG

Doom and gloom again, Garner Out, Wael out, bring back the glory days of McGhee and Higgsy. I’d be tempted to ask to have the glory days of Coughlan back, I doubt hull would have rolled Coughlan’s side over.

There were a few players there who were rather unprofessional.

Poor defending for all three goals to be fair ...
Hull took their chances Well but we made it very easy for them Tutonda was poor tonight and the third goal was just awful.
No disgrace losing here to a well organised, gritty team with a bench who have the biggest mouths I have heard in a while.
We are not a top six team by a long way and people on Here need to calm down and forget promotion and the bastard ridiculous bus that hopefully has failed its MOT after tonight.
We are progressing though .. so enjoy that.
We go again on Saturday .....

Overal I don’t think we played that Badly. hull upped their game in the second half and we switched off at the back post for their second and Baldwin f**ked up for the third. 2 very poor pieces of defending to make it 1-2 and then 1-3 Other than that i thought it was fairly even first half where we created the best chances and hull were slightly better in the second half and we gifted them two goals. Defensive mistakes again. Thing is we could drop Baldwin for Kilgour but all defenders make mistakes at this level. One thing I think we saw again tonight which was the same as v Ipswich Sunderland and Doncaster is Grant isn’t a ball winning midfielder who will break up play and get stuck in and you need that against the better sides.

At least there are some positives to this result. The Garner haters can come out of hiding and give us lots of 'We told you so'.

At the end of the day, too much tippy tappy and not physically strong enough. Outclassed second half where we could not cope with there high press. The high press from the full backs was a problem in the first half after the early goal. Honeyman seemed to have a free role in the second half and popped up all over the place to help Hull dominate the 2nd half. Tutonda worries me positionally as he seems to drift inside a lot and leaves too much space. He seems to naturally want to play narrow. Hull exploited that lack of concentration throughout the game.

This forum full of people prepared to lose coz it Hull. Wouldn’t want that mob in trenches with me. Whereas people who jump at the opportunity to criticise their leaders are welcome in the trenches with you? Those leaders that sat back and watched there forces die in vain - rather die in vain than live with that!

Men against boys, absolutely no goal threat from the 4th minute onwards. Exciting football, no more like come dancing, back and back and sideways and back. Feel sorry for Hanlon, wasted on his own.

A new young manager coaching a new young squad. Dont expect perfection but we are heading in the right direction on the field and as a club even in these tough times. We may have lost the battle but are building behind the scenes for the bigger picture! UTG

Disappointing tonight - Hull a good side and top 6 for sure but definitely architects of our own downfall tonight in a game we could, and should, have taken a point. Should've be 2-0 up at half time and not sure whether there was a foul in the build up to their second. Third goal really not relevant to the outcome. Another game where it was clear the goals were coming. We should have reacted quicker to the 3 changes. Unfortunately we waited and allowed them to settle. Our changes too little, too late. Saturday is a test of character now. We move on, hopefully with lessons learnt!
