Otzumer must be wondering how he doesn’t get in this team.
Looking forward to Ehmer, Harries and Kilgour launching balls over the little Turk’s head in the last 20 minutes of the game already.

I think its actually got more to do with the wingbacks. As traditional RB/LBs, Tutonda, Hare & others would be wasted really But when we line up its 5 at the back anyway so they're still being wasted. The 3 at the back looks awkward and it means we're short of a player in midfield or up front. Well they do usually sit in front of the back 3, but here we actually look a flat back 5 with Tutonda & Hare rarely, if ever, coming out of our half. The front 3 are at least trying to do something but honestly Grant and Upson are just wasting space. Doesn't then help that each CB just launches if straight to Swindon every time. Very poor. |

I was really excited by the prospect of Hare and Tutonda on the flanks this season, but most times I've watched lately, both of them have been really poor.
We have some good players but aside from Nicholson and Hanlan, they're all playing below themselves at the moment.

A very poor first half between two poor teams. Kilgour looks like he has a mistake in him every time the ball goes near him, midfield of Grant/Upson ponderous and poor in possession with numerous misplaced passes. Awful.

Wonder what a new manager can say to players he doesn’t know. We need to come out with much more energy than what we have seen so far. New manager will be learning so much from one or two of these players.

Poor from both sides. Has 0-0 written all over it - cue the goal fest 2nd half.
We just don’t seem to be able to string enough passes together to put Swindon under pressure. A couple of possible goal threats from Hanlon and Nicholson but nothing of any real substance.
