Lucky we're playing Swindon really. Play like this against a decent side and we'd be getting d!cked by now. Just can't see how we are supposed to be playing. Its not football that's for sure.

At least One of our midfielders needs to push up and support the attack and so do our wing backs .
It’s been very much an 8-0-2 formation without the ball.

If we're as bad after 60 minutes, can see Tisdale bringing five subs on just to have a good look at them.

On the plus side we've gone into half time without conceding. Also, bare in mind, our manager has had one training session so far. And he taught them launch ball,I’d rather have Garner ball. |

A very poor first half between two poor teams. Kilgour looks like he has a mistake in him every time the ball goes near him, midfield of Grant/Upson ponderous and poor in possession with numerous misplaced passes. Awful. I agree with the above, not quite awful though! We're allowing them too much time and space on the ball whereas they press when we're in possession. Pleased with Hanson and Nicholson but need to see more attacking support from Hare and Tutonda. |

Terrible, terrible game.
But after conceding 7 in our last 2 games, I knew we'd set up like this.
Like I said earlier, i'd happily settle for a scrappy 1-0 win today.
We've got Oztumer and Westbrooke on the bench, think we'll see one of those to replace Upson start of 2nd Half, because he's had a shocker.
On the plus side, it's impossible to get any worse as a spectacle.

Every time Upson get’s on the ball, he’s slow and ponderous, takes the sting out of every counterattack we make that comes through him. Why Westbrooke has been dropped after having such a good game in midweek is beyond me.
Kilgour defending against the experienced Pitman worries me, been lucky on a few occasions in that first half.
Hanlan and Nicholson are playing some nice football but they always look so isolated on their own with no-one to give them any support..
Need to get Oztumer and Westbrooke on ASAP.

Yeah seems so, being kind perhaps it’s a young player panicking and trying to shovel it on. I’m only listening so I can’t see if he’s ever presented with any options. What I have seen under Garner the defence doesn’t tend to get much dynamism from the likes of Grant so if the defensive mids are marked up and static then I guess the punt is the next best option. I'm watching it, and can say that he's mainly been launching it under pressure, and as long as he can do that reliably, I wouldn't complain. Better that than fiddling about and giving the ball away. Fair point mate, I have some sympathy for him and will revise my opinion then |

Two poor teams.
For the Rovers Otzumer and Westbrook need to be on the field immediately, not sure why they didn't start, currently there is a complete lack of support to the front two.
