We've looked pretty tidy most of the first half in Midfield. But we're really rueing the sh** recruitment up top in the summer. It was always going to come back to haunt us.

I could do what upson does in a game, pass it side ways/ too slow to tackle/give the ball away and get booked at some time. unpopular opinion: I think we're better with him in the team. He keeps the ball moving and is always an option for a pass. He drops in to cover the defence when any of them go forward. I would agree but with Ehmer and Baldwin behind him and Grant next to him it makes us very slow in the spine of the team, teams knock it wide and we struggle. |

Under garner we didn't go 2 consecutive league games without scoring.... We're at 2 and a half now....
The last two were away but we really need to bag one in the next 45....

We've not been too bad going forward got into some good positions but our final shot/pass is letting us down. My worry is that I'm not confident we wont concede again, an absolutely terrible goal to give away, real schoolboy stuff and we've been lucky on a couple of other occasions. Simple ball over the top causing us real problems.

Baldwin isn't good enough.Ask Sunderland and Salford. Neither is Ehmer. Slow and seems to have zero positional awareness. Could do with Davies back asap. I think you could be right with this. If we can get a fully fit Davies back he will be strait into this team. I think his no nonsense, physical defending is exactly what we need right now |

Defensively we are a shambles.Gillingham take a short corner with nobody picking up the spare man,there are numerous runners not being picked up,the back line sat far too deep and inviting pressure..

Jan transfer window will a massive one for a proven striker but by then who will want to come to a team looking like their being relegated? and who play 1 up front. Gills got 3 strikers playing today away from home... |

We look good going forward ... Oztumer and Nicholson are exciting for sure. Other players looking decent ... Hare and McCormick who has so much energy not sure he will be out for the second half though as he took a real whack. Grant looking ok... The rest range from not quite on it to ‘ Please get rid ASAP’ - Baldwin and Ehmer and Upson have all been very poor. Lionheart I’ve never known anyone talk as much nonsense as you... Upson’s been very tidy, kept the ball moving nicely all half, tracked back well and been an outlet. I’ve said it before, but it’s extremely clear you have no understanding of football. |

This is where this lot needs a kick up the ass at half time. Is Tisdale the type? They certainly do. Whilst we’ve played a bit of pretty football at times we’ve showed the bollocks and strength of a feeble kids team. |

One individual error aside we have looked the better team.
We were the better team bar far v Wigan.
People need to stop moaning. A new squad isn’t going to click immediately and I’ve seen signs of improvement in the space of two weeks. In a way I’m glad the doors are closed as the negativity would no doubt rub off on the young lads.
They’re a big physical side, and we’re not, so I have no issue getting everyone back from set pieces. Standard football.
Obviously there’s a clear lack of pace along the back line. Oh how I wish for Tommy Locks back.
If we can get Oz on the ball he’s causing them so many issues. Nicholson is the first player to remind me of Bodin.
3-1 win to rovers. Blue tinted glasses firmly on. This isn’t as bad as you think. Shoot me down in 50 mins if I’m wrong. Just had a tenner at 25/1

I normally listen to the opposition commentary but he’s crap too tonight so watching with the sound down. Such a shame we can’t turn it off and have canned crowd noise. |

I thought Upson was tidy. Our Defence is shocking, look like we could concede at any point. We haven’t got bags of goals in us obvs, so we will have tighten up if we are to avoid the dreaded drop. I fear we do not have the personnel though ☹️

The thing this team lacks is a tough midfield general captain to spur these wimps on and some more tough types too. We’ve got some good technical ability in this squad but no steel. |
