We can’t score and we can’t defend. This has relegation written all over it. As it stands, I look at this side and I genuinely wonder if its the worst team in our history. It's hard to see another league win this season! Nah some of the teams in the early 2000s were atrocious. This team has talent but a complete lack of leadership. |

One signing we could make now is a defensive coach. Everyone got dragged towards the ball for their second and once again we've conceded a free header. Nobody is taking any responsibility in this team. It is odd why we don’t have one, I can only assume it’s a cost saving measure because we’ve been crying out for one all season. |

If my old team were playing the rovers id dig my boots out knowing that id only have to make late runs to the edge of the penalty area and be completely unmarked with yards of space

That was depressing. We looked lively up front but dodgy at the back until the first goal. Their goal, after a calamitous mistake by Ehmer knocked us for six !
Not impressed by Tisdale's tactical move in the 2nd though. Nicholson was looking vey dangerous coming in from the left first half - but for a lack of composure he could've bagged 1 or 2 early on. 2nd half he was put wide right and our main goal threat had gone !??
We have some poor defenders - heading is a massive weakness for many of them - Baldwin and Hare to name two.
We need to score first in a game or it doesn't look good at the moment. A shame Daly was missing - Hanlan was handled impressively by Ogilvie-their star defender.
Evans is a massive ass in every sense !

As soon as Garner was out the door he still thought it was the best squad since promotion. That comment comes back to bite him on the ass with each passing game. If he seriously thinks this was good recruitment then he’s part of the problem as much as Garner was. Who employed garner? Pirate? |

I have to be honest I turned off when we conceded the second. I felt positive at half time that we would get something from the game but second half we didn’t perform. I know people have said about inexperience but there are plenty of experienced pros out there tonight. What we lack is steel, fight and pride. I didn’t understand the change back to a back three at half time. If McCormick was injured surely we could of made a like for like replacement as I felt we looked in the game playing 4231. Hargreaves must be wondering what he has to do to get a game at the moment We were actually doing OK before they got their second. The problem is that it was so easy for them to get their second yet we could play until Friday and still not score. |

Dear Garner boys. Tisdales form does not mean Garner was a good manager. It does not mean the clubs decision to get rid of him was a bad idea. If anything, it validates it. This squad is probably the most unbalanced, inexperienced, most disorganised and inept squad I've seen as a gashead. That lies at Garner's feet. And yeah, probably Widdrington's too. His promotion seems misplaced right now. I don't blame Tisdale one jot for the last three league performances. I can see signs of improvement. But we're going to have to hold on for January and hope he can work with Widdrington to right the wrongs over the last two windows. Surely Wael got to take some blame? Yeah maybe. But he just cleared £24mn of debt or whatever it was (help me out ITKs) so it feels wrong to slam him for it. |

I didn’t think we were that bad tonight, it was a fairly even game that on another day might have ended as a draw. Two lapses of concentration ultimately punished us, the first goal in particular was very frustrating to concede. The real achilles heel of this team is that they don’t create or score enough goals, we’ve scored the 2nd least amount of goals in L1, managing to score only 1 more than strugglers Wigan. Hanlan’s a very decent footballer but I’m yet to see evidence that he’s got the final product to turn him into a good league one striker, he’s only scored one goal from open play in the league so far this season. Same goes for Nicholson and Oztumer, I’ve been impressed by their technical ability but they haven’t chipped in with enough goals so far to get us into games when either Hanlan/Daly hasn’t scored. I think Tisdale has a decent squad to work with but we’ll continue to struggle unless we fix our problems in front of goal. But we knowingly bought players who we knew couldn’t score goals. Surely someone at some point in the food chain at the club thought to themselves “now hang on a minute, where’d the goals here?”. Oztumer, a midfielder, is the only one who has proved he can hit the net with regularity at league level. It’s all well and good saying the squad would be great if we could score goals, but we knew from the start that this was the case. I can’t get over how we then went ahead with recruiting endless left sided players. |

But this has to be up there. Not on individual technical ability but as a footballing side. All the other ingredients are non existant - no strgnth, no belief, poor decision making etc. Think some (not you) have got carried away with technical ability and are missing the bigger picture. |

Hanlan certainly isn't over his injury enough to be back to his best and it showed.
Walker is not ready for this level yet ,hopefully in the next year he will.
Nicholson only driving force and after the formation change neutralised.
The mccormick injury swung the game to gills.
Had nobody who can run and tackle and bring the ball forward. The cynic in me says he was targeted by the opposition.
2nd goal, the cross was undefendable and oliver was in the right place. A poor attacking free kick led to the cross opportunity.
Oz and westy is a luxury few can afford t play at the same time.
January will need a striker and a strong experienced midfield defensive player added to the squad.its a fine line the right tweaks and it a playoff team the wrong or no tweaks and its league 2 next season
