At the time I remember being baffled about the stick Lockyer (not good enough on the ball apparently) and Craig (too slow apparently) got. Looking back at it, the criticism was even more ridiculous than I thought. At least they were top quality defenders.

This club is a joke, end of. I’m not a Bristolian but love this club but I’m telling you it’s a stream of water. Annoyingly it could be amazing, fan base is 100% This club always struggled in division one (3) but found strikers who made us look respectful like Rickie Hoskins jch etc. It's the difference between mid table and relegation. But for some unknown reason the club decided to opt for two kids who in the pass would of been built up in the reserves and a very average striker who was expected to be the leader. We all said it and the club went against their tradition of being excellent at picking up prolific strikers and making them even better. We pay the price now .. Looks like he could tear up a defence to be fair.  ![]() |

Might of been different if Nicholson had put away a great opportunity to score, seems to get into great scoring chances and then falls to put it into the net.

Hare, Ehmer, Baldwin, Leahy and Upson are hardly "academy" players, one player seemingly giving 100% was McCormick who is one!

Tis, you have a full workload on your hands to stop this ship from sinking.
Too many don't want the ball.
I liked formation change, it shows initiative and it appeared PT was trying to stop the rot by reverting to what the team had known for a while - and in some ways we looked more balanced - but we are awful in both boxes and it showed.
Don't understand Ehmer inclusion. Especially as Captain. So disappointed.
Nicholson isn't a RB.
Don't think upson and grant work together well.
Oz had some blinding passes in and Nicholson played himself and others in for fine chances but couldn't finish.
Alfie looked better.
Once again it proves you need 2 up front, as in 2 strikers.... To form partnership with. To play close and feed off each others' strengths.
Teams too easily suss Hanlan, and there's no back up plan...
Beaten by a better team that are streetwise to 3rd division tactics and horrible. We weren't in the match, too bullied off the ball and met with a strong organised defence with the ball.
Yep, work to do as these players may be good on paper individually, but on grass seem to struggle to play as a team....a legacy of BG.

Tisdale talks like someone that regrets the night before. Punch drunk. Bit slow in the noggin. Best days passed. He hasn’t a f**king clue. We are owned and managed by a spoilt child Wael (f**king clueless) and a failed business man and sh** football ceo Martin Starnes (talks alright but ducking useless). Common message: f**king clueless. Maximum jokes this club. I get emotions on here are running high tonight after that but this post is ridiculous. I’ve always thought Tisdale comes across well in his interviews, very articulate and possesses a good knowledge of the game. Also calling Wael a “spoilt child” and ‘f’ing clueless when he’s wiped the debts and given us a training ground over the summer is quite frankly bizarre, not to mention disrespectful. I've never taken KippoGas seriously tbh so I'm wondering if he's trying to be funny. |

Best constructive post of the night.
Let's hope Tisdale still has a contacts list to bring in an experienced striker, not necessarily top goalscorer, but someone to hold the ball up and bring others into play.
There is some talent around the squad but we need a stronger spine. I think Upson's legs have gone so we need a more mobile central midfielder who knows this division.
The defence needs a player who can read the game. We've got too many similar central defenders who don't compliment each other. A Steve Yates type is needed - wonder if Grant could do the job there?
If Nicholson had taken one of those two great chances in the first half it might have been a different game. Also, Koiki should have done better with that great pass from Ozzie.

If nicholson had converted the chances he had in the first half we would have won. Quality player but unable to finish. Oz and McCormack had good games, but playing with one striker is pointless. Bring in Hargreaves to strengthen the midfield. Little should get another chance after a decent game on sunday but as he was suffering from cramp towards the end I am not surprised he didnt play tonight. We really missed Daley, hopefully he wont be out for a lengthy spell but Tis didnt sound too optimistic.
It was awful viewing tonight but I suppose I will be a sucker for more punishment on Saturday .
