Using the channel tunnel this morning…….can’t wait ! 😬 Enjoy your holiday in Kent. Car Park, sorry, Garden of England. 😇 A one minute per car check has become at least 3 minutes per car. What did people expect? Not as though we warned them. Besides, what's the problem? We've taken back control of our borders and so have the French. They are fulfilling their obligation to prevent illegal immigrants using the Channel. 😃 Have a nice time, though, when you do get there.

Well that was truly joyous and such fun . None of this driving up to Folkestone and just boarding the channel tunnel …. Oh no ! This time we had the delights of really savouring our final 5 hours travelling 3 miles in Blighty 🇬🇧. Waving at the Brexit voting Kentish people as we sat in traffic jams in direct sun for hour after hour as we moved slower than a snail 🐌
Dont let anyone tell you this isn’t a massive win . Blessed is the mighty Brexit 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 ! Bon voyage !

France is still baking hot 33 degrees here today. Don't forget if your there on 11th August the meteor shower. If you have little light pollution it can be spectacular. We watch it every year (when there's no cloud). Safe travels through France. You did pick traditionally the busiest weekend of the year to travel.🙄 Anyway be safe and enjoy your holiday. 🍺🍺🍺🇬🇧🇬🇧🥂🥂🍾🍾🥐🥐🥖🥖

Fabulous have a great time. Went to Venice for my 50th X number of years back. If you get a chance (and haven't been before) take a ferry to Murano as the glass works are worth a visit and also to the Island of Burano. If you were the sole UK winner of the Euromillions of nearly £200M you may just be able to afford a gondola ride! Have fun.

Having a place in Treviso a short train ride from Venice my only word of caution is that it will be mobbed, avoid midday and if possible go late afternoon, enjoy the experience.

Seems the French still can't accept Brexit and will do anything they can to make life difficult for us pesky Brits, bless them! think folk have to be realistic , we voted to join a trading bloc made up of 6 European countries( the French vetoed our application on more than one occasion) which over the last 40 odd years has morphed into a giant super state which likes to be portrayed as one big happy family where every one is equal, it's just that some are more equal than others, ask yourselves why do they decamp to Strasbourg every few years, why to keep the French happy of course! As i said it's taken 40 odd years for this thing to evolve so we can't expect to unravel it all overnight ,it will take time and the remoaners will do every thing they can to hamper our attempts to move on as will our embittered French neighbours, every one needs to move on here and in Europe, as every has to do after a divorce, if the bitter remoaners hope to reverse the result by continually trying to undermine the leave process they are mistaken, we are out , get over it , and channel your efforts into putting the Great back into G.B!

What has got better since we left the European Union? Where is the three hundred and fifty million pounds Boris Johnson promised our NHS?

That post from Halifax was straight out of the front pages of the Daily Mail/Express trash newspapers. Good grief.

Some people are so gullible they’ll literally swallow any line spouted by the right wing media or the Brexit MP’s.
