Turns out Slovakia just bought 2m doses of Sputnik, without EMA approval. How did an EU country manage to do that? Got to be worth a dislike? If only I could Id do it myself for you! You got a lol on yours though! Lucky bastard.

I don't know if anyone looks at the other forum, Oldgas/Towngas is getting a fair few 'responses' on their Joey Barton thread.
Come back Oldgas, by comparison you are amongst friends here. Besides, it would be nice to have a contrasting view.

According to the Express;
"Contactless payments have soared since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
In 2019 four in every 10 debit card payments used contactless, this figure has risen to six out of 10 in September 2020.
Eight out of ten UK adults used contactless payments in 2019 according to the Treasury, and the Government hopes removing the EU's £45 cap will help make millions more payments far quicker and simpler.
"Tap and go" contactless cards initially had a limit of £10 in 2007, and this was increased to £15 in 2010, £20 in 2012 and £30 in 2015.
The limit was raised to £45 last April, in the early months of the Covid crisis.
The decision to increase the limit was subject to a public consultation by the Financial Conduct Authority before recommendations were made."

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-56262527So after everything on here about the EU showing its true colours, is this the Tories showing theirs? Considering everyone on here admitted the EU were wrong in their actions of nearly breaking the trade deal, will there be the same reaction the opposite way around?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-56278125The EU is "negotiating with a partner it simply can't trust" in post-Brexit talks, Ireland's foreign minister has said. On Wednesday, the UK said it would unilaterally extend grace periods for Irish Sea border checks, a move the EU said was a breach of international law.

Subtle. 😶 "Always read between the lines, especially when they're written by those who once wielded guns. In its letter to Boris Johnson, the Loyalist Communities Council writes: "…opposition to the (Northern Ireland) Protocol should be peaceful and democratic." But - and it's a big but - it adds that the border in the Irish Sea "undermines the basis on which the Combined Loyalist Military Command (CLMC) agreed their 1994 ceasefire". The EU have shown themselves to be completely untrustworthy in the way they deal with other countries. They are still trying to punish us for daring to leave. I see that Italy are now going to ban the export of vaccines the EU have said don’t work. Vaccines which were ordered in the proper manner by the Aussies. I read yesterday that France are going to do the same. France! Who’d have thought it! And you voted to remain a member of this dishonest, devious, bullying organisation. Wow.

And there is the proof, that you cannot admit to anything that doesn’t fit your views: Anything Tory = amazing, anything EU does is bad. Even if that means breaking international law. I look forward to reading your evidence where the EU said the vaccines “don’t work”.

Are you for real? I mean, did you manage to type that without having your fingers crossed?
I refer you to the bungling EU fiasco, do they ever do anything differently, whereby they late-ordered the Ox vaccine and when they were told delivery would be delayed, started off bullying the manufacturer and then suspended export of the vaccine as well as suspending the NI agreement.
When EU countries, notably France and Germany then refused to administer it to over 65’s because they said EU reports said it hadn’t a very reduced efficacy on that age group.
They have since had to climb down and admit it does work, and work very well and are advising their elderly citizens to have the vaccine only guess what? They’ve hardly got any because the marvellous EU cocked up the procurement programme.

Well done Liz, now what happens after the four month period of grace ends? I feel better already. And so you should. I bet the Scottish Treasury Minister feels better for the Whisky tariff reduction. The money saved will go towards paying the legal bills Wee Jimmy has run up trying to prosecute Salmond. I should think they’ll need to sell a few thousand more crates of the Evil stuff to cover the costs of when she challenges that enquiries findings that she lied to the Scottish Parliament and is asked to resign.

We’re talking about UK breaking international law, but you cannot admit that it’s wrong - despite slating the EU for the exact same thing. As usual, you’re wanting it both ways. Didn’t see your article where the EU said it doesn’t work. Can you quote it please? Or are you just exaggerating and making nonsense up again? Look forward to reading the evidence.

Fishing , farming , Haulage , Financial services , Auto motive industry, Airlines and plenty more all adversely affected negatively by Brexit . Pound devalued , loss of freedom of movement. Northern Ireland stitched up , Scotland soon to leave etc etc
Your one benefit, the vaccines which we did whilst still in the EU . You even had to audacity to claim the fishermen had a great deal . Laughable.
