Devil is in the detail, be interesting. "A UK-Australia free trade deal has been agreed and will be announced on Tuesday morning, a government source has told Sky News. Boris Johnson and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison agreed the broad terms of the agreement over dinner in No 10 on Monday evening, the source said. The UK government had been eager to strike a free trade deal with Australia by the end of June to demonstrate its capability of forging new economic opportunities having left the European Union." news.sky.com/story/brexit-uk-australia-free-trade-deal-will-be-announced-on-tuesday-morning-sky-news-understands-123328000.1-0.2 % increase over 15 yrs . 0.1-0.2 % increase over 15 yrs . Great , Go Boris Go Brexit ! It's the symbolism, far more important than the actual terms. My bad …. It’s actually 0.01-0.02 % The rushing through of this trade deal is because they’ve had nothing but roll over deals so far . It’s done out of desperation so brexit loons have something to shout about ( without realising it’s crap and sells out our farmers down the river )

www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-57518910UK food and drink exports to the European Union almost halved in the first three months of the year, compared to the same period in 2020. The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) figures show EU sales dropped by 47%. The trade body said the decline was largely due to changes in the UK's trading relationships, but said the pandemic was also a factor. The government said it was "too early to draw any firm conclusions" on the long term impact of Brexit. It also said the pandemic had depressed demand. "The most recent ONS trade statistics show that for both March and April, overall exports to the EU have exceeded the average levels across 2020," it added. Dominic Goudie, the FDF's head of international trade, said the drop was a "disaster" for the industry. "It is a very clear indication of the scale of losses that UK manufacturers face in the longer-term due to new trade barriers with the EU." ——— Well I for one am shocked. Who ever thought that trade would be less and it would take longer to import/export?

Blimey do you scour the media every morning for this😊😊 I’m here to educate 😀 😂😂😂 Had a big debate in the village pub last week about this. One prominent pro leave and Tory supporter (a mate and ex Bristol cop) stressing that we should all just stop moaning. I gently pointed out to him that its not moaning, its holding our political leaders to account, which is what you do in a democracy. At which point deflection took over🤤

All the things we predicted would be a sh** show are proving to be a sh** show . The things the brexiteers vehemently claimed wouldn’t be. Now we’re not allowed to point out we were right and they were wrong. Move on 🙄
