Watching Sky on a big TV whilst on furlough, moaning about immigrants whilst cheering on the England football team, Team GB/ParaGB and the tennis.

The economic argument for Brexit never stood up except by those wishful thinkers who already wanted out no matter the cost. Even those on here who tried to explain couldn't answer that other than long term promises. Brexit was all about sovereignty, supposedly taking back control from the fear of having Brussels impose things on us. It was an irrational fear fuelled by misleading headlines and con artists. If I'm not correct can someone please tell me why.

Disgraceful to sabotage the proms with a political protest. It might not be all rosy following brexit but why wave the bloody EU flag at something that's supposed to celebrate something British. Especially when Britain is no longer a member of that club. Some people just cannot accept the result of a democratic vote.

EU and other national flags have been flown at the Proms for as long as I can remember. I wouldn't call it sabotage. Nothing will change my view that I am a Bristolian, a West Countryman, English, British and European. All layers of who and what I am and I'm happy to be associated with all depending on the context. Looking forward to the Ryder Cup?

I have no problem with other nationalities waving their flags at the proms but the EU flag is not a national flag. Are you telling me in the past there has been that many EU flags waved at the proms, more than the flag of the UK. You say "when are you going to get it" the reverse could be said "when are you going to accept a Democratic vote and get on with it".
