I agree with line up apart from Ayunga.
I think he should be playing a full 90 and try and get himself a goal.

Our lineup certainly looks like, play for your squad place doesn’t it for most of them I want to see something from Barrett as seen bugger all from him yet. A lot of talk but no action. |

Not saying we will lose but that team selection is not a manager who desperately wants to win. It seems to me to be a manger who will accept a defeat in order to assess players he has not seen play in a competitive game and needs to assess who will make his 22 man squad and who will be loaned out/released or unregistered from the EFL restricted squad size

Will be good to see how Ogogo and Grant get on together. Looking forward to seeing Ogogo again he bossed the midfield Under Coughlan in many matches hopefully he can do the same for Tisdale. UTG. |

Ayunga possibly not quite fit yet, Hanlon rightly rested and Daly out. Can’t risk depleting our strikers with so many league games coming up.
We all know we need to sign a striker, unless Tis has seen something in Koiki to suggest he might be a decent option? Interesting line up. Some players need to show tonight they deserve to stay.

Looking forward to this, dunno why but it feels like a ‘bigger’ game than it should be given its in the EFL trophy. Big chance for the likes of Kelly, Rodman, Barrett, Koiki and Harries to force their way into Tisdale’s plans. UTG.

Ridiculous team selection shows the importance which Tis has for this trophy but IMO it shows more how badly we need to sign two strikers in this window as we are desperately short of attackers and have a lot of games to play in the coming weeks.
