As you don’t seem to be letting it go / taking it somewhere else as requested by two mods now and as Marshy has done, I think it’s best if you serve a short one week ban.
Don’t like doing it but if the match day threads are to be ruined by incessant bickering as mods we feel it’s the best course of action, in order to get the best user experience for everyone.
Axe. [ Anyone who has read the match day thread probably thinks Jaxx has overreacted. But we also have no idea what is going on in his life that could have potentially caused the reaction. We are living in worrying times, he may have lost some some close, lost his job or simply have money concerns, we don’t know. So what we need to do is think before we post on here, especially if you are going to call someone a sh** head. It’s probably the worst insult most on here could think of other than being called GGMI’s love child, most would bat it off but you never know. Think before you post and if what you have written might cause offence. Don’t do it. Poor GGMI ! how could you ? |

Why do you need a shout when the balls heading towards you? As the other poster suggests Ogogo would have let them ball though. If you're going to cover the near post surely your job is to stop the ball reaching the goal/6 yard box? Football is all about communication the best players are often the ones that talk the most. Having someone alongside you constantly talking you through a game is massive help to any young player, I'm sure if you asked Kilgour the main thing he misses about Tony Craig he'd tell you it's his communication. Ive no idea why Grant left it but a more experienced player probably clears that ball without being told Absolutely. I think Grant left the ball because he’s experienced and he bottled it. Simple as that. If the keeper has shouted away then it’s Grants fault if he hasn’t then they’re both to blame. It’s sh**e defending but other than a couple of games this season we have defended badly. We need need a Coughlan style league 1 defensive coach to come in and organise our team as a defensive unit and that’s not just the back four it’s the defensive midfielders too who don’t offer any cover to the back four |

Clearly watching a different game to some. I thought we looked the match of Charlton all game. The main difference was we lack a lot of confidence and aren’t ruthless going forward.
We had some issues with them hitting us on the break mainly down our right.
Other than that I was very frustrated we didn’t get a point as we were worth it. With a bit more incisiveness and craft in the final third I thought we could have won it.
People saying we were awful, have no idea about that at all. We were ropey being hit on breaks, but we made a ton of chances but they kind of fizzled out. It’s almost like there’s a lot of new players trying to play together and we were missing 2 of our crucial playmakers.

Very little cohesion to our play, thought we were poor in the final third.
Charlton should have made the game safe second half but wasted good positions and missed a couple of sitters, their player who tripped himself up when facing an open goal did make me chuckle.
In the end could have grabbed a point with Alfies header but not to be.
Hope Nicholson is back sooner rather than later.

Not looking for a scapegoat but Westbrooke does my head in shirks most 50/50 balls or contact, ok may not be his game but when your looking for your team to roll their sleeves up its disappointing, offered nothing today with his distribution either, so overall a poor game. Most games I find myself thinking, he needs a rocket up his arse. He seems to jog about as though each game is a training session that he has had enough of. Seems to play without any conviction. So infuriating as from time to time he has also put in a good ball winning tackle & delivers the odd fantastic cross / free kick, but for me nowhere near enough to warrant a starting place. Problem we have is when Nicholson & Oztumer are out, we lack any creativity in midfield. Although I really like McCormick & next season he could be a big player if we can keep him or extend his loan. |

Day - 7 At Fault for the Goal Hare - 7 Okay First half Harries - 7 Close up the hole when he came on! Kilgour - 7.5 Fairly solid first half Baldwin - 6.5 Struggled and got turned a bit too often. Leahy - 7.5 Had a good game and was pretty solid today. didn't get forward enough today (unlike the mid-week game) Grant - 7.0 Did what he was asked to do! an Okay Game Rodman - 6.5 Only this low because he was subbed on 30 mins too late Upson - 7.0 Thought he had a solid game within the remit of how he's being asked to play. Westbrooke - 6.5 Not his best game & let his frustrations with strikers show. McCormick - 8 Best player by far. Very good game almost felt like we were conceding the match seeing him subbed off - MOM Barrett - 7 Did nothing when he came on. Would have preferred to see him alongside McCormick instead of replacing him. Hanlan - 5.5 Tough day at the office - marked out of the game today Ayunga - 3 Woeful! Woeful! & out of his depth Good Assessment that ... I would probably drop them all by 1 but the words backing up are spot on. |

Can we stay up,50/50 I reckon.PT is not a messiah he can only work with what he has got thanks to BG and our director of football.The Plymouth and Blackpool results raised hopes that we could get out of this mess but in truth they could easily have been 2 more defeats based on chances created by both of them.This is going to go down to the wire,lets hope PT can get the players in to get us over the line,this squad is taking us down.

Think the marks are TOTALLY over the top because we were playing a very ordinary Charlton side and I felt we were boring to watch and almost back to a Garner style display. We have about 7 or 8 full backs and none of them are good enough we could clear them all out and just bring three decent ones in. The same could be said about our midfield and we have a total lack of attacking players. It is worrying that it looks very likely that quite a few more games are going to pass before we get any attacking players in.
Distribution is appalling at times as is drive and determination.I can't remember exactly what happened but am sure that the corner they scored from was yet another needlessly conceded by Leahy.Another thing which irates me is everybody back for a corner and then we concede one straight from the kick.No players on that pitch today warranted higher than a six and most of our players were 5 or less.
