And to add if anyone else has a problem with another poster rather than posting in here please take it to PM and have a civil conversation there instead rather than in ‘public’ so to speak.

Let’s not make this about GGMI instead please. Let’s be nice. It’s crap enough that we lost without it getting personal. I second this, at the end of the day we’re not here to bash each other but to discuss how crap our most recent performance was.

This threads been full of really good feed back and opinion about today’s game with the occasional childish post thrown in that’s really undermined it. We’re all Gasheads we all miss supporting our club the way we normally do and we all feel disappointed with today’s game but can we try and be adults about it and not like kids bickering in a Dam playground please.

Day - 7 At Fault for the Goal Hare - 7 Okay First half Harries - 7 Close up the hole when he came on! Kilgour - 7.5 Fairly solid first half Baldwin - 6.5 Struggled and got turned a bit too often. Leahy - 7.5 Had a good game and was pretty solid today. didn't get forward enough today (unlike the mid-week game) Grant - 7.0 Did what he was asked to do! an Okay Game Rodman - 6.5 Only this low because he was subbed on 30 mins too late Upson - 7.0 Thought he had a solid game within the remit of how he's being asked to play. Westbrooke - 6.5 Not his best game & let his frustrations with strikers show. McCormick - 8 Best player by far. Very good game almost felt like we were conceding the match seeing him subbed off - MOM Barrett - 7 Did nothing when he came on. Would have preferred to see him alongside McCormick instead of replacing him. Hanlan - 5.5 Tough day at the office - marked out of the game today Ayunga - 3 Woeful! Woeful! & out of his depth Couple of issues straight away. "Barrett did nothing when he came on" yet you give him a 7. Grant gets a 7 but was at fault for the goal yet you blame Day! How can you blame Day! Grant was on the post if he's not there to clear it then what is he doing there! To make it worse he probably blinded Day slightly! Should read "Barrett did nothing Wrong when he came on. yet you give him a 7. A typo from me. Grant gets a 7 but was at fault for the goal yet you blame Day! How can you blame Day! Grant was on the post if he's not there to clear it then what is he doing there! To make it worse he probably blinded Day slightly! - I don't think he was at Fault. It was Day.

Sounds like it was a poor game today and they nicked it. Day seems like a good keeper. That was his first league appearance for us and hopefully he'll soon develop a better understanding with his defence. We were also missing our captain, who will be back Tuesday. Let's remember that Westbrooke had COVID and may not be feeling 100% yet. Oztumer and Nicholson - arguably our 2 most creative players - should be back in the squad next match. Ayunga has made a big step up and been out injured so needs a few more opportunities before he's written off. We could really use another striker though, even if it's on loan. If we can win a couple of our games in hand, things will look a lot rosier.
I didn't watch today, but iFollow has usually been decent for me. Its great that the club get a lot of the money from it. Seeing as it's unlikely we'll have fans at The Mem this season, and Wael seems to have us financially secure, would it be worth investing in a better cameraman? Or a couple more cameras for different angles? Not sure if the club has any influence over the coverage

It was Day.How can Grant not take some of the blame when he put so little effort into clearing the corner, if he had then there be no talk of Day being to blame. Just watching the Leicester v Saints game and they are talking about the latter showing determination and effort closing down opponents off the ball, once again that seems devolved from our players. Like Garner before him Tisdale seems to show little passion on the touchline and that seems to rub off on the players. If they don't wake up soon we could well face another 3 defeats this week.

Not sure if the club has any influence over the coverage I can't understand why Ayunga was played v Sheff Utd then rested v Wimbledon as surely he would have found it easier v the latter. Westbrooke, effort wise, has been the same all season, I can never understand how central midfield players get to this level w/o being able to tackle.

That’s right his first start in the football league. He did alright considering I thought.

Think the marks are TOTALLY over the top because we were playing a very ordinary Charlton side and I felt we were boring to watch and almost back to a Garner style display. We have about 7 or 8 full backs and none of them are good enough we could clear them all out and just bring three decent ones in. The same could be said about our midfield and we have a total lack of attacking players. It is worrying that it looks very likely that quite a few more games are going to pass before we get any attacking players in. Distribution is appalling at times as is drive and determination.I can't remember exactly what happened but am sure that the corner they scored from was yet another needlessly conceded by Leahy.Another thing which irates me is everybody back for a corner and then we concede one straight from the kick.No players on that pitch today warranted higher than a six and most of our players were 5 or less. I’ll be honest Steve in that I enjoy your views and comments but I do tend to find that you are overly critical.... we’re no way amazing but we are not as bad as you make out and generally I believe we perform like a mid table to top 10 team but our biggest problem is that we lack a cutting edge (Hanlan is good but can’t do it all on his own, Ayunga is coming back from injury and not yet fully up to speed and Daly is injured). We have Walker who has fantastic potential but is not seasoned enough or experienced enough to be a regular league 1 player - a loan to a league 2 or National league team I think would do him the world of good. we desperately miss Nicholson who I think is our most talented player as he gives us that spark, unpredictability and ball carrying skills that really troubles defenders. We also missed Ozzy today for his vision and creativity. our defence is ok - Leahy is decent and the majority of the squad are good enough and decent League 1 players. for me it’s crucial we get a seasoned centre forward. I see Ayunga as an option from the bench. Today was by no means woeful or terrible, we competed but lacked creativity and a cutting edge. We grafted and matched Charlton up - they were just lucky and fluked a goal.

One thing for sure, Tisdale has inherited another mans belief in players ability and quality, come the end of the season and the summer there won't be enough room in the wardrobe for two people. One of the two people who believe they know what's best for building a team will have to go, which one will it be ! In know way can the present arrangement work !

It was Day.How can you think Day was at fault?! From a keepers point of view, you stay fairly central as the ball could be going anywhere. Grant has one job to mark the near post - and he f**ked it.
