I have taken heed of GGMI's special request and have taken it upon myself to relieve him of his duties for this game (albeit 4.5 hours early)
I have never started a thread before, and I am not waiting up till midnight to start this one, so please take it easy on me. I have started this thread on the basis that I have never fancied our chances at the Kassam Stadium but have been there on a number of occasions and have only ever seen us win. Fingers crossed that my luck holds out and we get to see another famous victory.
PS Another reason for starting this thread is that I have just taken receipt of a BJ "Special Hamper" and have already drunk my way through half of it!!!!!!!

Oxford unbeaten in nine games in all competitions.
Last defeat against Swindon at home at end of November.
Can't see our good record at Oxford continuing tomorrow and with Tuesday nights game away at Posh coming up the league table could make grim reading on Tuesday night.

Thats what happens when the players cannot do the job that they are paid to do. Leahy constantly passing to opposition players. Kilgour and Baldwin keep getting caught on the wrong side of players,and I really have no clue what Ehmer has brought to the defence. Dont even get me started on Baldwins distribution,its as bad as Lockyers was. |

Oxford have really started to climb the table recently and have several games in hand on the playoff pack so will be massive favourites for tomorrow's game and cant see anything other than a home win by 2 or 3 goals. Sorry to put a downer on it but Tis has a lot of work to do to get us out of this mess because we have become 1 of the bottom 8 teams that are starting to get caught adrift at the foot of the table. We do have a good record at their place but I can see the snake coming back to bite us tomorrow.

Tough game tomorrow on current form, but they haven't had a league game since 2nd Jan, so could be a bit off the pace? They played in the Trophy but presumably made changes. Their last match was postponed due to the weather rather than covid so I guess they have still been training. PS You want to go careful swallowing things you recieve from a BJ |

If I'm honest I'm not convinced by him or Ayunga. Another reason I'm desperate for Nicholson and Oztumer to return. I also like Hanlan, McCormick and Daly in those forward positions. Barrett is technically OK but hasn't produced anything yet and needs to work on his professionalism (it would seem). Ayunga just is probably at least a League above his skill level if not 2 leagues above. He gives us another option but if eithe rof those 2 are starting games we're in trouble. |
