When Westbrooke isn’t there we are more direct with a quicker tempo but he slows it down so much it’s infuriating. How he stayed on for 80 minutes today is anyone’s guess. The game was crying out for McCormick. Full of energy, creative and can put in a tackle when needed. Agreed. I'd always make room for McCormick. Decent player and always puts in a shift. How many of the others can you say the same about?

Our problem is Garner was a under 21s manager at the elite level and thought he could bring those players and principles to l1 adult level. I thought PT could come in and iron out some of the flaws and instil a bit of realism but it’s boys vs men out there. They think they’re still at school. Compare them to the players who’ve had to fight for their careers like we saw in the players who took us to two promotions from the conference. Players who’d tasted disappointment and the harsh reality of football. Those who’d been blunted and had high mental strength. The project is failing. This bunch of players seem to just turn up for the pay packet. No passion, no pride, no team, no fighting for each other, gutless, spineless and just passing the time because they can't pass the ball. The conference side may have had less skill but they fought, battled, played for the badge, manager and team. Whatever you think of DC's skill as a manager at least he had a team that was Gas through and through and had pride to play. We are in a worrying state. It’s the Rovers side of 2011-2014 all over again. Completely unlikable players who you always feels could give more. Is Tisdale an improvement on Buckle or McGhee?

Listening 2 Tisdale interview on Radio Bristol does not look promising regarding new signings before the window shuts on Monday at 11 pm

Barring an impressive last minute striker signing, we’re down

The game was crying out for McCormick. Full of energy, creative and can put in a tackle when needed. To a person on here McCormick is one of the first on the team sheet!! Does Tis think he is guardiola?! Play your best team and don’t mess around...the grant debacle is a joke. Not in the starting 11 because the manager though he was suspended?? It’s hard to fit McCormick in to the current formation. He’s not really a player who can sit deeper in midfield so unless you want him to replace Nicholson or Ozthumer he’ll have to remain on the bench. I’d prefer us to revert back to 4-2-3-1 where McCormick could play in the central position of the 3 behind Hanlan. I thought when Williams came in it was to play as a conventional right back in place of Ehmer not come in and play wingback.

Utter utter crap, So many players not up to league one standard, some aren’t even non league . Two strikers and a decent defender otherwise we are in big trouble, Ayunga must be in dreamland playing in this league

Like others have said, why are we persisting with 5 at the back?
Our best performances and results this season have come in matches where we've lined up with a back 4, Wimbledon away and Plymouth at home.
It's not like playing 5 at the back improves us defensively, if anything we look more vulnerable.
Also, how on earth is Westbrooke getting in the side ahead of McCormick? Playing Westbrooke is actually worse than having 10 men because he slows the game down so much allowing the opposition to get back into shape, he doesn't track midfield runners and can't tackle.
It was a mistake loaning out Davies and keeping Harries, he's a liability in my opinion.
Considering Rochdale concede so many goals and had a back line full of kids we create very little.
I don't think there are enough goals in this team to keep us and particularly as we always look likely to concede at the back.
We need to pull a JCH type rabbit out the hat before Monday night to have any chance.

The only saving grace is the teams below us may just be as bad from what ive seen and read. It's beyond belief that there are still 4 teams below us in the form table.
It's hardly something id like to rely on for safety though.

We have no identity as a team, no clue going forward. We get in good positions but we have no idea what to do with it. We get out wide to put a cross in but there's no one in the box half the time. Can't we just go simple? Start ayunga, play off him, put crosses in and attack the second ball.... Easy stuff. By passing the ball around it squashes the play up giving us no room to play. May as well just go back to playing direct, it's easy...

Basket case sums us up, we are going down.BG started it and PT is finishing it. The first one has the excuse of being a dreamer, backed by the owner who is also a dreamer. PT is not the afore mentioned fantasist , he is even worse. Clever words ,experienced manager and also totally bleeding useless, 5 at the back at home to Rochdale, Thanks Paul

Westbrooke isn’t good enough on the ball to make up for how bad he is when we don’t have it. Leahy as good as he was is always at the scene of crime when we concede. I agree that this team does not have enough goals in it or the defensive grit to avoid the drop 🙁

Now you mention it he’s eerily reminiscent of McGhee- a dinosaur whose fire has long gone out and who now makes nonsensical decisions and shows no urgency to get results.

5 players injured for them, only named 6 subs and they still won away

It's a sobering realisation , but without a new striker (or daly coming back AND hitting form) Then Rovers will be relegated. I also suggest not winning in the next 2 games has to see tisdale leave.

How very depressing. It looks very much like we are relegated. Not least because the manager does not appear to have a plan to get the best out of the players we have.

I make it 10 points from his first 10 games. Not really any worse than a Garner but not better either and certainly not good enough. If we carry on picking up a point a game we’ll go down.

On the other hand, we’re only 17 points off the play offs with a game in hand. 23 to go, you never know! Are you talking about the players? 🙄
