Completely lost on the defence. Looking at their CVs they 'should' be alright. We are lacking a leader. It's PTs job to either make one of them a leader or get someone in on or off the pitch to sort it out as he is clearly incapable of sorting himself. There is no shame in a manager getting support where he needs it, it's part of management. Losing Craig was a disaster IMO. Was he the best defender, no. Did he get the best out of those around him, yes. Until we have that 'voice' at the back we are in serious trouble Or the defenders aren't good enough and no amount of coaching will make them any good? |

No matter if Tisdale walks or gets sacked, I don’t think any manager can turn this weak lot that Garner & Widdrington assembled in the summer. I hope that there is a relegation clause in all their contracts, that they can be released without any financial penalty.

When a Club spends cash on a country training ground rather than a team - what do they expect - no point blaming the staff - it is all down to the man who decides where the money is spent - anyone owning up Wael? Couldn't make it up. We've needed a new training ground for decades. Now you're slagging him off for building one! That’s fanatical! He seems to have some obsession with slagging the owner off for anything and everything - even when he’s doing stuff for the benefit and in the best interests of the club fanatical supposedly supports? What’s Wael done to you fanatical to water you off and make you dislike and try to discredit him so much? (All the time!) |

Until we have that 'voice' at the back we are in serious trouble Ehmer was Gills captain so I would have expected him to be that voice, organiser, encourager etc etc. Clearly he isn't so perhaps he wasn't Gills real leader. As I posted earlier I feel so let down by him that he should be stripped of that captaincy, and even shown the door completely It seems to me that Garners recruitment (and yes TW has to take some of the blame for letting it happen) was to bring in people that wouldn't challenge him and his ideas as a new young coach. We're paying the price now |

You need more than one captain on the pitch and tonight with Abu injured we have none and our manager seems a nice bloke but he’s quiet , thoughtful and too wimpy to drag these players up and motivate them. Pathetic , I really can’t face any more of that tonight I’m going to watch Man U v Saints. |
