Fresh from my wonderful predicted defeat, but heart saying a draw, at Posh, I'm going for another heart hopeful draw at Accrington, although the way our defence is leaking goals it's a head saying defeat. Think PT has got to revert back to a 4-4-2, but I think he will stay with the same back 5, unless Baldwin is fit then he will bring him back. Think he might play McCormick instead of Westbrooke and keep the others the same with Grant instead of Ogogo, unless his injury was not as bad as it seemed, in which case he would revert back to the line-up for Posh. Don't care how we do it, but we need a draw, minimum.

We need every player to put in a big shift, to get the points. Christ we all need a lift, after today’s awful news about the closure of Tog hill bogs.

I'm hoping that they aren't another side that rolls us over.

If he plays 4 the back and Westbrooke isn't in a deep role then we might have a chance. Sadly neither of those things will happen.

I'm assuming Ogogo, Upson and Baldiwn are out and Daly not considered ready to start as he hasn't featured on the bench yet.

Whatever we say about the lack of transfer activity, if you’re looking for a positive angle it can be seen as a show of faith in the players we have at the club.
We now have two games a week for seven weeks in a row and ultimately those players, or at least some of them, need to step up and grab the game by the scruff of the neck. For all that they have a mistake in them, I’ve seen this in evidence from Leahy and Baldwin recently. There’s no lack of commitment but it’s about alertness and playing the game on the front foot. I don’t doubt we can get out of this mess but I think it’s more in the mind than anything else, with these players, which is not surprising for a squad lacking in experience and especially know-how.
We also desperately need a few key players to stay injury-free, which is a big ask. Squeaky bum time.

Good on you Jester, Stanley have been really impressive these last few years and are a great credit to the game 'a beacon for the little clubs' if you like. The stats provided by the good folk on here point to only one outcome but this is another game which would wreck many a pools coupon or the modern betting market, especially '10 homes' and the like, Rovers to let many a punter down and grab a hard fought point, come on Rovers!

Yep that the team I would go for and try to get some minutes for Daly from the bench if possible.

I totally agree if it were JvS it would be so different, Joe should have done a bit better but I also think that a ball/shot taken the hard from that close should have bodies flying try to block Leahy got done.. it happens and was trying to get his foot in. Westbrooke was staring at it (might have been caught in two minds making sure he blocked the passing lane?) Unfortunately Harries turns away from it which is disappointing for him. If he stood still it would have hurt but it was have bounced off him for sure.

Would go with this too assuming injuries. We needed a better balance and with Williams added in Jan we have that. We need GK cover and in the main, Day has been better than JVS. Gonna be a battle, need another performance like Posh. Think we'll lose and the pressure on Saturday will be huge. Come on the Gas!

Like that line up, might consider 'resting' Day though. If JVS made that mistake that Day did, he’d have been absolutely crucified on here. Which mistake? Rochdale's first was a defender's error at the near post and the second was due to the defence not closing down and allowing far too much space and time for the shot. I stand to be corrected, but Grant for the first and Leahy/Harries for the second.
