Which mistake? Rochdale's first was a defender's error at the near post and the second was due to the defence not closing down and allowing far too much space and time for the shot. I stand to be corrected, but Grant for the first and Leahy/Harries for the second. I know Grant isn’t popular on here but wasn’t he sat on the bench when Rochdale scored their first? Yes - I'd corrected that and apologised. |

I know Grant isn’t popular on here but wasn’t he sat on the bench when Rochdale scored their first? Ogogo was closet to Lund, but still Grant's mistake even if not on the pitch!!!! Hold my hands up. I wrote the first post from memory and have apologised to Josh Grant having checked back the footage (and reset the memory chip!).
Regardless, I don't think you can blame either goal on Day, which was the main point here.

A good performance would put us in a better frame of mind.I get so full of despair watching home games and seeing the tents which are so awful.What has happened I wonder that we are so poor as a team,signed no-one to help us out and have such a dreadful ground which is hardly fit for purpose.Leadership simply nowhere to be seen and although obviously lack of money is a major factor but Accrington,Rochdale,Crewe etc are small clubs and do much better than we do.

They can also be bad enough to lose to us as well though. Footballs a funny game. Things can change so quickly. They have to be favourites but we are good enough to go and win the game. We have been playing poorly, yet Nicholson still hit the woodwork when level in the last 2 games. Accrington have had some great results, but they have also been beaten 3 0 and 4 0 in the last month. The were beaten at Hull 3-0, then beat them at home 2-0. You omit to say having won at Charlton their Manager made TEN changes for their mickey mouse cup game at Lincoln and they lost 4-0. Make no mistake, their league position does not lie, they are a decent side. I hope we can get something tonight, but I was also hoping we could get someone through the door last night and we all know what happened there. I said they can be a good side. I didn’t list every game, they also lost at home to Gillingham during the run. That’s why I said up and down. I was replying to the person who said they were not on a great run to start with. I said they are favourites, but it is winnable. |

Spoken to a few colleagues today who live relatively close to Accrington (Bury, Rochdale and Preston) and they all said that they've had some snow. Any forum members based in the vicinity? Any chance this could get called off?

Feeling confident for this one. Maybe its all the ddom and gloom of this place over the last 24hrs or so. A kind of Yin vs Yang situation. If we lose i will be joining the doom mongers, have a good feeling about this one, think we will do them by a Marshy.
