Anybody know if the players all went up on the team bus? There was talk of all players driving to away games in their own cars because of covid. Retaliation??

Tisdale needs to go .... ASAP Ideally sacked tonight
Maher needs to go .... ASAP Ideally sacked tonight - he is the common link between Garner and Tisdale - needs to be cut out!!
Wael needs to sit down with Starnes and give him a written warning for performance .... ASAP
Plenty of managers out there who could tell these god awful players some home truths and get some discipline into them.

We've played quite well at 4-1 down. We played quite well at 2-0 down the other day at Crewe and many in here said we were unlucky. That’s not luck it’s starting football matches in an unacceptable way and deserving to lose because of it. It was tongue in cheek. |

Who do you want to buy the club? Higgs, Ware.... Manager? McGhee, Buckle, Atkins? Tisdale is in the same bracket as that lot. Duff or Flynn would have been a better shout, fresh ideas and a bit of spirit. Clough not a bad shout either. But we went for the easy, lazy appointment. Why would Clough consider joining us when it's obvious he likes managing clubs in the East Midlands, Duff or Flynn could just as easy be the next Buckle after we've spent a fortune on compensation. You'd probably be saying why didn't we appoint Holloway if he hadn't flopped at Grimsby. Although the real blames lies in letting Garner dismantle last season's squad and replace it with inexperienced players whilst, it seems, blowing the entire playing budget. |

This just sums up the apathy which has always been part of the fan base of this club. Head's should be rolling after being 4-1 down at HT to Accrington f*cking Stanley. We should be demanding answers after this shower of absolute useless sh**e. and of course it's really easy to demand answer when we're all start at home watching the games on iFollow, just give it a rest. What I have watched tonight is entirely down to the players.
Basic defending has gone out the window.
The least any Manager can expect is professional footballers to have some idea how to defend. They clearly have no idea on the evidence since the start of the season and that has been clearly rubber stamped tonight.

Tactics have been bad tonight, on a slippery surface they have kept the ball on the ground and ran at our poor defence, in reply we have put crosses in their box and had the ball in the air far to much making it easier for Accrington to defend, when we did get the ball down and ran at them we scored. Ehmer is awful but Tisdale tactics have been poor as well.

Its the Kilgour, Ehmer and Grant comedy show with Day not far behind them. Couldnt defend if their lives depended on it. In possedssion we have actually lo0oked quite good and could with a bit of luck have had four but what can you do when the defence is an embarrassment. When you see the size of Kilgour and Ehmer it is a joke that they get beaten in the air so often although not so much a surprise when they get beaten on the ground. Our defense and the defensive side of the midfield has relegation written all over it. What do the coaches do? This kind of comedy defending sums up the complete season. Westbrooke looks a lot better going forward than drifting in front of the back four and was denied twice by the goalkeeper with goal worthy attempts. Their goalkeeper has been stopping them whereas apart from one Day has been pretty dreadful again. I would take Grant and either Ehmer or Kilgour off or maybe take both centre halves off and put Grant back there with Baldwin . Certainly couldnt do any worse!.

People going on about tisdale having Tto go , it not his squad for a start Would not matter if jose mourinho or pep guardiola got the job nobody could do anything with lot I agree but not adding to it last month if it was possible was. I can't see who could save us PT or anyone else.To me our current situation seems like a dead horse. If PT stays after tonight it could get very nasty between him and this set of players. The post match interview on Saturday with PT came across as a man that has having a disgust at this group of players and there efforts.I think he knows he took this job on at the wrong time give how awlful the playing staff are. Agree. |
