First time this season didn't pay to watch an away game, what a good decision. Is there any chance of the game being abandoned? I see Rotherham was off with a waterlogged pitch and isn't that far from Accy.

Never thought I'd do a matchday thread that got to page 31 before the second half started. I'm as ashamed of them as all of you! Sorry all!😠Well at least you’ll be author of the longest match day thread ever. I expect GGMI is very jealous.

Wow! That was the worst first half of football I think I have seen Rovers play*. Before today I thought we had enough to be safe of relegation but now I'm on board with all the posters saying we're going down. Poor individual performances but what is worse is the total lack of cohesion or understanding between players. Ehmer, Day and Williams seem the worst culprits for this. Accrington took their goals well, but all were from finding space between players that we failed to communicate or take responsibility for.
*The other contender for worst first half of football was when we were 2-0 down to Southend last season under Coughlan. We did turn that one around but I can't see the same being performed by this squad.

Come on you lot there’s a game going on and if Accrington get 8 players sent off we might scrape a draw.

Not played too bad between the boxes. Terrible defending. Poor finishing / good saves upfront.
Midfield is the problem. You cant have oztumer and westbrooke in the same side. They are both luxury players .
You have to win the midfield battle. We are relying on a limited experience 21 year old to dominate midfield.
Will rovers score 4 in the 2and half without reply to win the game ?
Let's hope so.

Wael Widdrington Tisdale Time for all to go. Clean deck. Dead club So if Wael walks, what happens next? I doubt they've thought about that?

Can’t ever remember seeing comments like this at half time. It just proves that everyone has had enough. How can any team be losing 4-1 to Accrington. This must rank as one, if nit, the worst first 45. Unutes in the clubs history. There doesn’t seem to be any spirit left in the club. I hope we see some positive reaction tomorrow when the so called board meets to discuss tonight.

It's just we're crap at defending and we've got clown Ehmer as captain!

What I have watched tonight is entirely down to the players. Basic defending has gone out the window. The least any Manager can expect is professional footballers to have some idea how to defend. They clearly have no idea on the evidence since the start of the season and that has been clearly rubber stamped tonight. George Graham spent hours and hours boring his squad to death working on defensive shape and tactics. Getting organised and working your socks off in training can pay dividends - what do we spend our training sessions practicing?

What I want to know is why hasn't he made changes already. A player from the bench maybe thinking this is my chance to show I'm better than those on the pitch.... Nothing to lose

Tisdale needs to go .... ASAP Ideally sacked tonight Maher needs to go .... ASAP Ideally sacked tonight - he is the common link between Garner and Tisdale - needs to be cut out!! Wael needs to sit down with Starnes and give him a written warning for performance .... ASAP Plenty of managers out there who could tell these god awful players some home truths and get some discipline into them. Maher was Coughlan’s assistant. Mesure is Garner’s man. I can only assume we don’t want to pay him off hence why we have coaches from the last two regimes still on the books. Seems an odd set up.

Its the Kilgour, Ehmer and Grant comedy show with Day not far behind them. Couldnt defend if their lives depended on it. In possedssion we have actually lo0oked quite good and could with a bit of luck have had four but what can you do when the defence is an embarrassment. When you see the size of Kilgour and Ehmer it is a joke that they get beaten in the air so often although not so much a surprise when they get beaten on the ground. Our defense and the defensive side of the midfield has relegation written all over it. What do the coaches do? This kind of comedy defending sums up the complete season. Westbrooke looks a lot better going forward than drifting in front of the back four and was denied twice by the goalkeeper with goal worthy attempts. Their goalkeeper has been stopping them whereas apart from one Day has been pretty dreadful again. I would take Grant and either Ehmer or Kilgour off or maybe take both centre halves off and put Grant back there with Baldwin . Certainly couldnt do any worse!. I can't see Day was at blame for any of the goals plus he made a worldy to stop it being 5-1, the issue is Ehmer although somehow we survive the last 15 mins so little point in changing things now in the hope he's finally woken up. Ayunga on for Oztumer.
