Yes he's been potentially hung out dry in as much as we've not addressed the issues withing the squad - but then maybe that's partly his fault anyone (e.g. turned down players or failed to convince others to join us).
However - there has been zero improvement - and that IS his fault. If anything we are getting worse.
Whether that's because he isn't capable or whether it's because they aren't playing for him - ultimately it's irrelevant.
45 massive minutes awaits.

Tisdale is in the same bracket as that lot. Duff or Flynn would have been a better shout, fresh ideas and a bit of spirit. Clough not a bad shout either. But we went for the easy, lazy appointment. Why would Clough consider joining us when it's obvious he likes managing clubs in the East Midlands, Duff or Flynn could just as easy be the next Buckle after we've spent a fortune on compensation. You'd probably be saying why didn't we appoint Holloway if he hadn't flopped at Grimsby. Although the real blames lies in letting Garner dismantle last season's squad and replace it with inexperienced players whilst, it seems, blowing the entire playing budget. Hey there is no “after eventing” here, at the time Garner was sacked I said I wish we had acted sooner and gone for Clough but failing that Duff would get my vote. They gave it to Tisdale, what can I say? As for Holloway yeah, I can’t stand the guy with a passion but if he’s a winner he’s a winner, same as Cotterill- couldn’t give a sh** about what he’s done or said, I want this club to win so I’d have him here in a shot because he’s a winner and he’s proving it at Shrewsbury. Fair play to him. He wouldn’t fit in here at Rovers with his record of success vs ours of mostly revelling in under achievement |

Wael is also part of the problem, whether you want to see it or not.
We haven't improved on the pitch since he's been at the helm, you can talk about infrastructure all you want, but on the pitch is where it matters.
We've gone backwards since he took over the club.
The promotion snatched with the last kick of the season had nothing to do with him, dispite him being lofted on shoulders outside The Vic.
This is his club, he hires the staff and appoints the managers.
This is just as much down to him as anybody else.
