Unfortunately tonight showed exactly where our problems lie, if we take our chances we're coming out of that game with at least a point. McCormick should score and that pretty much guarantees us a draw. I'm not sure where we go from here, Tisdale for me just doesnt seem to instill any passion into the side, the effort is there but where is that real gutsyness you need in a relegation scrap. We desperately need a Mansell type figure to knock a few heads together, unfortunately there doesnt seem to be one either in the playing squad or management team. I dont like sacking managers particularly 2 in a single season but at the moment I dont see how we get out of this with Tisdale in charge

And some of those games were abysmal team performances so what chances were created for him to get on the end of. Again Hanlan has had how many chances in the last few weeks and scored a grand total of 0. When Ayunga first signed I thought he would be a handful for defenders, but he hasn't showm it at all. I want him to do well, but I just dont see it anymore, unfortunately. Makes you wonder how we scouted him...championship manager on the ZX spectrum?

Pants in opponents penalty area. Pants in out own. Pant no good in India earlier.

Saturday is judgement day for Tisdale. As for our strikers they couldn't even score if there was no goalkeeper to beat. Dreadful. If Tisdale goes the backroom staff should be sent packing too as they are part of the problem.

Unlucky not to get anything tonight, but if we don't take our chances then we'll stay unlucky. Yeah it’s not luck. Please yourself, but I think with the chances we had a bit of luck might have seen us get something tonight.

Time to change it up. Tisdale to start the Matchday thread, Axegas to pick the team.

You know it would have almost been a decent performance if we had finished one or two of our chances and not conceded in the soft manner that we usually do.
There lies our problem, when we play well we find a way of undoing it by conceding from a set piece or failing to score. When we play badly, our heads drop and we get torn apart like in the Accrington team. It’s a mark of a poor side.
The Rovers of previous years would have beaten Fleetwood and Oxford, don’t think either of them were that special. This Rovers team huffs and puffs and ultimately gets very little.

Please yourself, but I think with the chances we had a bit of luck might have seen us get something tonight. Missing half chances isn’t luck. Losing because you only create half chances isn’t luck either. We could have done with some luck though your right

if you only saw the last 20 minutes of every Rovers game you would think we were superb why don't we start like that

I wish we’d give it a go playing 2 strikers closer together upfront more often instead of 1 and wide men.
We can at least try and get more strikers in the box!

I’m not saying I expect hat tricks, I’m saying I expect him to show that he demonstrate that he has skill at this level to compete. You said he needs more than 15 minutes, I’ve shown you multiple times he’s had the time, so have you seen that skill? If so, where? I don’t actually hate the guy, it’s not his fault. He just isn’t good enough. Look at Daly or Hanlan, even in a poor game they at least show they have the skill to compete Like i said earlier haven't seen him for long enough consistently to form an opinion on what his strengths are. At Sunderland when he came on and got chances to run at defenders he looked a handful but we don't seem to play that way and just lump the ball up to him. He is an easy target to pick on and that's a bit harsh in my opinion. Fair enough. My opinion is that he doesn't possess the quality for L1 football. I actually don't think he's that picked on. Ehmer, Leahy, Kilgour, Day, Westbrooke, Hanlan, Grant all get picked on pretty much game in game out. Ayunga gets what is his fair share, IMO. I think he probably comes up because posters like yourselves think he needs more time, which then (like we're doing now) gets discussed in more depth. In reality, the manager and most of the team is absolutely diabolical.

When he gets a decent crack of playing more than 15 minutes. Had 45 against Accy, 22 against Rochdale, 22 against Peterborough, 23 against oxford away, started against Charlton, 28 against Wimbledon He’s had more than enough time to show he can cut it at this level ...and has struggled to show that he's anywhere near the level.
We wanted JCH and got a gentle giant.

Interesting that after looking poor against us, Fleetwood beat Doncaster 3-1 tonight! Donny were the form team in the division and had ended Oxford's winning run at the weekend.
Shows that in a season like this with games coming so thick and fast, the good teams will have off days.
