So I’ll start today’s match thread. First one for some time. Last one was a win at Shrewsbury so I’ve got a 100% record.
Tough one today but let’s hope for a reaction to the change in manager. Come on you blues.

Nice 1-0 win that day although a tougher game than expected.
We played Daly and Hanlan up front with Dave T and Hare at wing backs...be nice to see Daly and Hanlan up top tonight.
In fact just had a look we had the same team 4 games in a row. Won 3 and drew 1.
Perhaps we should have gone a little more defensive for the Hull game after Shrewsbury but with that run it would have been a kick in the guts to drop someone.

Not sure what to expect to be honest. If I remember rightly we played quite well in TW's only game in charge, even if it was just a trophy game. Would love to see us actually bring the game to the opposition for once.

Will be incredibly interesting to see the starting eleven .... Given Wobbly Widdrington brought most of these players in who will he leave out and who does he think should be in.
Think Koiki and Tutonda could feature tonight ... My team at 9.15 am would be ....may well change between now and match time. Sadly no chance of Ehmer being dropped though.

I’d take a point in this one.
Going to be a tough game, and we will need to be at our best. Maybe zoom Barton’s face into the dressing room, give them a virtual talking to to fire them up.
Players should be fairly well rested so no need to fanny around. Get your best players on there from the off Tommy and go at them.

Thank goodness to be talking about football instead of JB. Hard match so I’d be delighted with a draw tbh. Let’s see Tommy W work his magic and the players do well, playing for someone they want to play for. I hope I get surprised and we get a great performance.

I’m feeling optimistic today, dunno why.
Pompey are of course a good side but I can see us putting in a hard working performance. 2-1 Gas. Oztumer and Daly to score.

Ironically I think we'll actually put in a half decent performance tonight too - think a win is pushing it against a good Pompey side, but maybe we could sneak a draw. Going for 1-1. |

Strangely, I'm feeling positive about this one, going for a 2-0 win. Rodman flying down the wing, peppering the goal with crosses - Daly and Nicholson will make the onion bag bulge. C'mon Rovers!
