Not sure if this has a bearing on the formation for tonight but I think, between them, Garner and Widdrington were aiming for a 3-4-3 system for this season as evidenced by the number of centre backs and wing backs brought in at the start.
Widdrington's team for the Chelsea game was:
Van Stappershoef
Kilgour Ehmer Harries
Hare Upson Grant Tutonda
Nicholson Hanlan Daly
So, allowing for injuries etc. I wouldn't be surprised to see:
Day
Kilgour Ehmer Baldwin
Williams McCormick Grant Leahy
Nicholson Hanlan Daly

I'd settle for 5-1 again like we did on 13 Nov 1982 when we were neck and neck in the table. They didn't like it when we cheered their consolation goal at the end for some reason. |

Let's hope our performance isn't as flat as a pancake tonight. It's been utter crepe watching the shrovers recently. I'm not going to sugar coat it. Must play batter if we're going to beat the drop-scones.

Apparently ‘The Beard’ will be joining the commentary team tonight. Think the gas cast lot. I misunderstood, he’s joining Lance from 6pm for pre match build up. It is manse joining the commentary team. |
