Strange, but there was an ominous inevitability about tonight. I was almost expecting that last minute killer goal.

I have said several times , we have the poorest set of players I have seen for decades, no aggression , everyone loves playing us we are so nice, no one breaks into a sweat , any free kick just outside the box is usually a goal the ref just as well give them a pen. think we need to go down and regroup with a new set of players , we will only struggle next year again if we stay up , there are some bad apples in this group that need to be shown the door , but I think we are going to be stuck with most of them , so think we need to go down a level while we get these no hopers out of the club

Grant, Koiki and Harries are stealing a living. Grant actually played well today.

Remember when we lost against Bolton? Back when we could go into football stadia? We beat Ipswich a few weeks later. It's sometimes the way the cookie crumbles. Okay but mate...we were 10th and 3 points off 3rd then As biggles has just pointed out we beat Portsmouth 3-1 last week. I'm not saying we're not sh**. I think we're very sh**. But I don't think losing against Wigan is the end of the world and means we will get relegated. Sometimes you lose to the worst squad in the league, sometimes you beat one of the best. The former doesn't necessarily mean you'll get relegated, the latter doesn't mean you'll get promoted. I think Joey can turn us around. Perhaps that's my passion represented in terms of delusion. Perhaps.

But would Craig really have to tell Kilgour to mark the player stood in front of him? It's not like crept in and scored from behind him. We can't bring Davies back having sent him out on loan. Craig would have been organising them. Sometimes you don't need to be told to mark you need to be told WHO to mark so that everyone knows their role. Who's doing that in our squad? I genuinely believe if Craig was still here the players would be more afraid of Tony Craig than Joey Barton. I accept he would organise the defence but is Kilgour that stupid he can't even mark the player stood right in front of him w/o somebody telling him he needed to be marked? I can't anybody needs to be afraid of anyone (that type of work place management is mostly long gone) they just need to do their job and want to win games of football.

Ayunga cost Rovers tonight when he came on. On every occasion (except one) took the wrong option and made a very silly unnecessary foul for the free kick.
We could have had a point if it wasn't for him

People saying we didn’t deserve to lose??? We did because we can’t convert any chances and we sh** at set pieces so in this league your knackered if you can’t do either. But if you can’t do both your f**ked.. Barton and team will suddenly realise they’ve taken over a worse squad than fleetwood think he knew before he had a better side at Fleetwood Blame recruitment

Grant, Koiki and Harries are stealing a living. Grant actually played well today. He did nothing to affect the match. The same as every other match he plays. When he plays alongside of Upsy Daisy,he is next to useless.

Apparently Ben Garner turned up at the Mem after the game and kidnapped the whole team, claiming they are his. He's demanding £1m in used notes, and if we don't pay up he's going to bring them back.

Right now I'd be happy if every player left the club and we started again from scratch next season. Everyone of them needs to take a long hard look at themselves. Flatter to deceive, all huff and puff, with no desire to win.

Schoolboy defending from set pieces has cost us all season and tonight we've somehow managed to be even worse. Completely baffled at how we can allow a bloke to stroll into acres of space in injury time in such an important game. Sunday morning players would have been embarrassed to concede like that. The most annoying part for me is that those two moments apart we never looked in any trouble, the fact we've still managed to concede twice is frightening. I thought we'd be ok but genuinely after seeing that I'm now more inclined to start planning for trips to Mansfield and Port Vale. Barton has a massive job on his hands to keep us safe, if he does I hope he has a long list of potential players as this squad needs a complete rebuild.
