How are we not winning this? So many chances All playing well. Ref should have booked more of their players? Westbrook free kicks don’t do anything. 2 in great positions? Let Leahy take close ones and shoot. He hit a great volley goal bound but blocked. Westbrook fired over with a great clear chance. Should be 2-0 up? McCormick should have been given the second one. |

After a cautious start we've been comfortably on top creating more chances but unfortunately not finding the net.
Leahy and MacCormick worthy of special praise but everyone has worked hard. I'd like to see a little bit more from Rodders, Westbrooke and Hanlon who are all players that could make a big difference second half.
Credit too to Alfie for his his performance, please keep it going until final whistle.

I think we were excellent that half, just missing the goal we deserve. Our back line has been exceptional so far and Kilgour has been a colossus in the air. Our front players are starting to grow into the game and I think we will take all 3 points here UTG Hanlan has looked poor all game, all he seems to do his fall down in the penalty area, god knows why as I can't recall him winning a pen all season! I agree he has been quiet so far, although I think if we can get him running in behind their high line he will grab a goal or two. For me he isn’t a hold up man and should be playing on the shoulder |

Another good half we got better as the game went on, the worry is that we'll get punished for not taking our chances. Game there for the taking, with the other scores as they currently are 3 points would be massive. Burton a lot more direct than I expected back 3 and Kilgour especially have stood up to it very well so far.

I can't understand how McCormick was booked for a something or nothing but their striker just got a warning after his fourth foul! Burton must be the worse footballing team we've played all season, they'd even look against a good Conference side. You always get booked for those deliberate, cynical ones - think JFH knew their striker was walking a tightrope though, may be why he hooked him. At worse it would have only been a yellow card, unless all he does his foul! |

Not really forced a save out of the Burton goalie. Apart from the Nicholson when he was clean though? If we'd managed to get one of the other efforts on target I doubt the goalie would have saved them anyway. |
