Yep completely agree.... I was always told to play safe and keep it simple as a defender and put it out as you can then buy some time, shape up and look to then clear your lines up the pitch... Most defenders don't seem to have issues with shielding the ball so it goes out for a goal kick, although I guess it's a dangerous game doing it in the box, as if the attacker wins the ball the defender can't then commit a foul or it's a pen. It's okay a strong competent defender doing it, but not a weak Leahy who knows he has made many mistakes this season, especially against a player like Wilks

We have conceded a goal in each of the last 2 games while down to 10 men. The ability to adapt quickly has to be high on the list of hard work in training. We seem to be lacking in all areas and nothing gets fixed. Has Barton got enough fingers to plug the Dyke? Keep it clean!

True although even from iFollow I could see there wasn’t enough pace on the ball to be confident of it going out.... I know Leahy has made the mistake today and he’s made a couple this season but in the main (and with his goals too) he’s been our most stable and strongest Left Back

Barton's commemnt “That is part of the frustration, they’re (Rovers) not a bad team, but the league table suggests otherwise.” Distancing himself already. If we go down he will leave of his own accord and we look again for another manager

Judging from JB’s comments about individuals making the costly mistakes Leahy won’t be playing Tuesday and there will be question marks against Kilgour and Harries

Burton's first shot on target went in on Tuesday? Not sure what it proves other than we concede goals/look odds on to get relegated, this is turning out to be like our ast relegation season, we're not hopelessly poor but we can't score to save our lives, so if we concede it's effectively game over. Just wish Wael would accept he can't run a football club and either sell up or employ somebody who can oversee the entire football club operation, as Starnes is clearly not up to the task pf CEO and Widdrington as DoF is a total p1ss take, given he's never even been a f/t league manager. Every shot on target, does not normally end up going in. How many times did Annsi save us last season??? Teams have been clinical against us. When I’ve watched other league 1 games, other teams have wasted loads of chances. We definitely are not getting any luck at the moment. Fine margins in football. At least performances have been better. We should not be relying on luck, we need to be better in both boxes. But every time the opponents get a chance at the moment, it goes in. Hull had an early chance which went just wide and on Tuesday Barton missed a sitter and JVS brought off a good save after they scored, it's nonsense to say every shot goes in, at the other end we never take any of our chances. We've basically gifted Wigan and Hull winning goals and handed Burton the game on a plate, we're simply not good enough, we've probably the next 2 games to show we are or just accept we'll be a L2 side next season.

And four empty bottles of Bud light? Just three mate. Cracked open a bottle of whisky I had at Xmas. It’s called Laphroiag. I just registered the bottle and I now own a square yard of the Isle of Islay!!! Only 600000 more bottles to go and we can build our stadium! Good man, an excellent choice but be warned Laphroaig is one of Scotland's heaviest peat whiskies and can produce monster hangovers. Tip: Do not drink other alcoholic drinks with it just plenty of glasses of water and you'll be one happy boy and feel good in the morning. Not that I have any experience in this field mind!

In an ideal world none of them would be playing, but sadly it isn't ideal.

People keep saying easier games are coming next but against who, fellow strugglers, better than us, so whats easier. The easier games are potentially those against mid-table sides with less at stake. All the strugglers are, like us, battling for their league 1 status.

You only get 4 fingers in a Kit-kat.

That’s why I despair at playing 3 of them together! 2 is bad enough but at least you minimise the amount of dross on the pitch at the same time. Back to 4 at the back, we have looked half ok playing 4-2-3-1 this season, Rodders, McCormick and Walker behind Ayunga. Although if Grant is now out I dread to think what our DCM pairing will be! A mess and one we will probably not get out of! Need to rest Nicholson and Hanlan and hope they can return after a slight chance to recover to nearer full fitness. No good playing players carrying knocks. Ayunga might as well be played and now he remains our hope for survival. Unbelievably poor recruitment will cost us, the question is, are we lucky enough to be slightly less dross than the other dross around us?

Substitutions today were justified but hard to believe that both Leahy and Kilgour stayed on as they were both dreadful. Why has Ayunga and Hanlan not been paired together, they both looked good together against Portsmouth whereas Daly just doesnt seem to have the physique needed. Personally today I thought it was a reasonable performance and that we made Hull look pretty ordinary and certainly 2-0 flattered them. I am not sure about the three at the back but if we are going to play it then we need Kilgour out as he is headless at vital times as is Leahy. Tuesday night I would go with Hanlan and Ayunga up- front together. Day
Williams Baldwin Harries Tutonda
Rodman Westbooke McCormick Nicholson
Hanlan Ayunga

Well they couldn't perform when we weren't in the bottom 4 either and that's why none of our 3 managers this season have picked them.

I hope he stays but not sure he will if we drop into the basement It’s not as if he hasn’t got his reputation riding on this as well, though. If he gets relegated with us, trying to get us back up might be the best option he has at that time, in terms of his management career.
