Our first choice eleven is the best in this league imo, finally a side to be proud of. Well done to BRFC for getting some funds for Blissett too. And well done for DC for having the patience to wait for the right players

What?? lol Gateshead lost, maccy lost and they were above us! Barnet and Woking won but oh well, we're up to 3rd and we're looking very healthy. Utg Would rather Barnet drop points than Maccy as they're now steaming ahead. Don't see Gateshead as a threat tbh. Well obviously I'd rather Barnet dropped points.. But they didn't, but a team who were above us still did and now we're above them, take it as it comes. And 2 weeks ago gateshead were second, before today they were 3 points behind us, they've dropped out now but theyll be in the pack come the end

Wrexham, Welling & Gateshead to play while Barnet have one game in the same period! The gap could be well & truly closed by the time we've finished v's Gateshead!!!
Merry Christmas!!!

And well done for DC for having the patience to wait for the right players Its hard to know if it was that or circumstance or neccesity so i would rather just say well done on building a decent side. Just need to cross everything for a relatively injury free run in

And well done for DC for having the patience to wait for the right players We still don't have a natural goalscorer and I thought that Goldberg should have got 20 minutes when we were 2-0 up. Del Verde could have been rested for Tuesday and it would have given Goldberg some match time and a few mintes to to show if he is the predator we are lacking.

Comfortable win in the end, felt we never really got out of second gear. Taylor was very good again, but Gosling is poor on the right and first half we had no supply from the flanks. Balanta has got a bit of class about him,and i feel there is a lot more to come from him and Blisset, who is quickly becoming a fans favourite. As for Wall i would of liked to have seen him with something to attack in the box,but looked strong and will be an asset while he is here. Three points and up to third. UTG

Agree with you 1000 % - why did we bring Goldberg in if he isn't going to get any mins ? LDV - didn't do anything either when he came on - although I understand he has been excellent in other games. I didn't enjoy watching our "second team" play in the first half either - were we really the home team ?? When done Taylor and Sinclair - shining lights in a very dour first half !

The team that finished the match, should be the team that starts the next one.

Very comfortable win. First half not great but Welling were so poo it was only a matter of time. Anyone know the away attendance as they had a grand total of zero in the seats? 78

Nothing special - strong but didn't look very mobile.

No we cannot keep players in the team on the off chance that we may get a penalty.Once again a gilt edged chance was missed by the hero of people on here. Our goal difference should be so much better than it is.And he is mostly to blame.

His all round game today more than meritted his inclusion, IMO. Certainly better than 'absolutely useless' and 'doesn't deserve any credit'. Surely you can admit that?

Sorry if this offends, but until he starts to put away routine chances,he will always be useless in my opinion.Yes he runs around a lot, but so do a lot of other players. His strike rate is dreadful and the one on one today was once again bloody embarrassing. Balanta looked sharp when he came on so I think he deserves a start, up top with big Nathan.

His movement is fantastic and he orchestrates our best attacks. He was my man of the match today. His chest down for the opening goal was simply fantastic (so was Balanta's pass) and it's not like he just put the pen away, he also won it. What is it now, three goals in four? Aswell as an assist, a vital bit in today's game for the first, a man of the match and he was my man of the match today. You're never going to like him but if DC drops him he's got to be mad. You cannot deny we looked at our most threatening when him and Bliss were upfront.

It's nice to have choice, I'd like to see blisset and LDV start, but torn between Taylor who did well today and Balanta who still didn't quite look the real deal to me today but definitely a rising star
