Ok so far i much prefer this shape to 3 at the back but I think we need more creativity to put our three forwards in.
Difficult to say who I’d bring off to bring Otzumer on for perhaps Hanlan and play Oz just behind Daley and Jona

Two very poor sides. Rovers edging it but we don’t look like scoring. Has either keeper made a save? I can see Upson getting another booking and Swindon nicking one. I can’t see where our goal will come from. I hope I’m wrong.

Appreciate we're low on confidence and don't want to lose, but after all the conquering everest/going into battle rhetoric I was expecting a bit more ambition and/or aggression tonight against an average (at best) Swindon team. Hope we are more forward thinking second half. If we're going down to league Two let's at least show some fight because at the moment it's just flat.

Got to change something at half time, that wasn’t great. Couple of half chances here or there but both sides trying not to overcommit themselves leading to a very cagey affair.
Daly and Grant have impressed me so far. What’s happened to Hanlan though? Looks completely devoid of confidence and ability.

This has got 0-0 written all over it. Just two incredibly poor teams. Dinnae give up yet pal, I still think because of th postponed game karma will play its hand here. Weird things happen.... As an example I saw a fortune teller a few years ago. She told me I would come inta some money. Th very next night at th community centre I shagged a girl called Penny. Spooky or what! |

It’s an even crap game your right, I don’t agree with our commentary keeps saying we’re in control, your not in control until your at least a couple of goals up. Creativity needed I think Otzumer or Westbrooke could find a run of Daley or Ayunga |

Hoof ball might work. Swindon aren't the best defensively worse then us I think just takes couple mistakes and we might take advantage Daly's the man to pounce He is and we need him up front and in the box. Oz or Westbrook need to be playing just behind because Hanlon is offering nothing and their defence needs to be given something to think about. |

Crikey that was a tough watch.
Daly the best of the front three .. Jonah and Hanlan look clumsy and ball seems to bounce off them. Usually they do have at least two defenders on them though to balance my negativity.
Upson going well .. Grant in and out of the game ... Luke busy without being productive.
Day - nothing to do literally
Williams lazy passing and wasteful going forward Has seen someone go past him just like Saturday on a few occasions.
Baldwin ... two awful passes that could have been dangerous to our goal.
Kilgour twirling on the ball like a dancer ... not sure what he is up to.
Way too many passes backwards... one move saw us on the edge of their area but ending up losing the ball after we had backtracked into our half looking for a long ball.
Both teams look L2 standard.

A nothing half lacking in quality and intensity. As Upson is in danger of getting a second yellow I'd be tempted to bring him off for Westbrooke. Maybe get Oz on at some point to add a bit more creativity and hope he can get in pockets of space and unlock the Swindon defence. Certainly need to step it up a bit in the 2nd half. COME ON ROVERS.

Leave Daly and Ayunga up there as a front two. |
