Much more private than that love when you are least expecting it. Not necessary Marshy. It's just a forum.

GGMI you are an enigma, why wind fellow gasheads up after another defeat, please explain your logic? Speak rude for no reason then what do you expect. P.S apologies to anybody offended by me starting a match thread 😂😛 Don’t apologise just don’t do it ever again, oh sorry no chance of that because you have to be the centre of attention. I’m sure you are a 14 year old girl, if not you certainly act like one.

Another game we shouldn't have lost on the balance of play. More possession, more shots, more on target etc.
Deserved at least a draw but poor defending, another questionable refereeing decision and missed opportunities cost us again.
Other than the first 10 minutes I don't think the players we had available could have given any more. We all know their shortcomings by now and they were evident again but no manager can magically click his fingers and turn Hanlan or Ayunga into JCH.
As mentioned in another thread, the subs were disappointing though. I'm struggling to think of a sub making a positive impact all season.

I just can't put my finger on why this season has been such a shambles. Jaakola is for me the best keeper in the Division. Granted he's missed a lot of games. Ehmer on a free transfer seemed good business, he was Gillingham Captain and had some of the best stats in the Division in terms of Headers won and interceptions. McCormick has proved his quality. Westbrooke, again on a free transfer seemed good business, he didn't play 30 odd games for the team who won the league last season because he's sh*t. Nicholson like McCormick has shown his quality. Oztumer on loan, looked a good acquisition, proven quality at this level. Those 6 players I would suggest most clubs in this Division would of taken them. Yes, the terrible Defending and lack of goals is the reason we're down the bottom and plenty of imbalance within the squad, but with those players we shouldn't be near the bottom. It is baffling. Kilgour and Leahy have played in nearly every game. I need say no more.

Stat alert: Last manager to lose 5 league games in a row was (I think) Dave Penney.

I got a funny feeling today was th turning point, I remember us winning at Ipswich 18 months ago an feeling elated and wondering how far we can go up an from that very moment it all went wrong. Today we visit th same place an come away as losers an rock bottom on form an tbh morale both on th field and in our hearts, let’s hope it’s a great coincidence that this time we start gathering a few points instead of dropping them through some weird twist of fate.
I still believe we can survive , an I won’t give up til th final act is made.
Good luck to th lads an Joey. No Surrender 👊

Can't see how Rovers would suddenly be a promotion chasing team in Division2.

Another sad aspect of this dreadful season is not being able to go to grounds like;Hull,Sunderland,Charlton,Ipswich etc.Next season it will be;Barrow,Harrogate,Sutton,Morecambe etc. Sutton's ground ain't brilliant at all but at least they don't have any tents. We have gone backwards big time since GC left and our ground has stood still since 1066. At 75,was hoping after Eastville,Twerton and the Mem,I might live to see our team in a proper ground and have never fathomed why places like Telford,Burslem (Port Vale),Burton ,Shrewsbury,Kidderminster,Crewe etc can have modern grounds but we are still in the Dark ages. Mr Wael's timely speech yesterday was valid and appreciated but even the Quarters doesn't alter the fact that where it matters we are hopelessly adrift. New vision ,money or whatever is needed.Would eject 90% of the current squad and even though no progress seems to have been made on the stadium front,I honestly don't think it will ever happen. So sad that GC was allowed to leave, all the new directors,Chairman etc who accompanied the new ownership have flown the nest including the famous match analyst ,Will Dubey.Sad sad times and every August I look at our surroundings and say to myself,'Maybe next year'. But next year ,it's still tents and more tents and nothing ever changes,'Be patient' they say.Well ,I have been patient for 65 years!!!!

I'd bring Ben back...
To scrub the bogs. He is still being paid by the club. I hope the bloke never gets a job in professional football again. But some prem nutter manager will make him a coach on 100k a year.. Strange game footie.

7 to go
Probably need to win at least 4 of them
Sad thing is, we just don’t look like a side capable of fighting for our lives. Teams literally just need to turn up to claim the 3 points, we have no backbone and no true leaders.
Sad times indeed, and when we finally get back we will find ourselves in the basement, having no affiliation with the squad and a club with more managers than points and more coaches than left backs
I don’t think this will be fixed any time soon, too many mediocre players who will find life in league 2 even more physically challenging than they do now. Will Barton want to ply his trade in this division? I’m not so sure. What a mess of a season.

It's a sad day when people on the forum are offering each other out. It seems that it's now acceptable to abuse other posters. If somebody gets on your tits, just put them on ignore FFS - it's a tough time to be a Gashead as it is, without winding up and infighting clogging up the threads.

Ayunga and Hanlan haven't forgotten how to score they are simply to inexperienced for this level of football.
