This team can't defend. This team can't score. The result of that is clear to see in the league table. It is probabable that we will end up bottom of the table - the very worst team in the league. Three very differenr managers have tried to get these players to deliver. All three have failed to get these players to deliver because the squad is full of mediocrity. The players, with a handful of exceptions, are simply not up to the demands of third tier football. The sad thing is that we knew it last September but nothing was done to rectify it. The January transfer window was a fu cking scandal. When everyone else strengthened, we signed a defender and a goalkeeper from the bargain bucket in Poundland. |

It really is astounding when loads of us on here were crying out for a couple of proven strikers at the start of the season and all BG and TW could muster were BH, JA and Daly who apart from the odd goal here and there have consistently shown since that time that they are not up to the job. |

Bizarrely, sacking Garner when we did is the main reason we are going down. And deservedly so for appointing 3 managers in one season. Nope, keeping him in charge when last season got called off is the reason why we are going down after the results he got and how he broke up GC squad. Tisdale and now joey cant get sh** out of this awlful squad as its truly terrible - created by BG and thoses fools MS and TW.. You mean the "Best squad since promotion"? (Quote, either Widdrington or Starnes, or both) they both need to go, and very soon. |

DC had enough games to keep us up as did JB. Excellent managers would have succeeded, but neither DC nor JB are in that category. Both took the job knowing what their task was and both failed. DC redeemed himself by getting stuck in and winning 2 promotions. Let's hope JB can own the relegation as DC did, and commit himself to getting us on track. His creation of a blaming culture does not auger well, but its early days so lets see how he performs over the rest of the season and in the summer. Sometimes Great managers fail with poor players and crap managers sometimes succeed with good players. DC was great with us Barton so far has been poor with us but I don’t blame either for our relegations and I think Barton should be given a chance next season just the same as I thought DC was worth giving a chance after that relegation. I disagree that they are not to blame (they are!) but I do agree they should be given the chance the following season IF THEY ARE UP FOR IT. DC most certainly was as his pride was hurt wen we went down. I am yet to be convinced that JB has the same investment in the club, or has broad enough shoulders to carry the burden. He would do well to start by admitting that HE failed to keep us up and that HE will get us back. If he carries on using his energy to find scapegoats among previous managers/players/medical staff/etc etc etc then I fear the worst. |

6 adrift with 12 to play for with Wigan and Wimbledon on fire. We will go down even if we miraculously won our last 4 games.

I said weeks ago that at least 2 of the 6 would go on a run and finish on around 50 points and if we aren’t one of them we’d go down and lots on here said I was wrong 46 would be enough.
There’s was pretty much no chance that all six would fail to show the fight needed in a relegation scrap and here we have it.
I was hoping we’d be one of them but didn’t really think we would be bevause for that you need leaders.

Well done Wimbledon. At least you're a team that battles for league survival. Our team haven't the faintest idea how to cope with a difficult situation. No leadership, no drive and precious little inspiration. To cap it all one of the most experienced players gets sent off and drops us down to ten men. Goodness knows we are absolute garbage with eleven men without helping the opposition even more.

There was no reason why we couldn't have picked up at least 10 more points from our last 10 games.... We just didn't want them did we.... Embarrassing.... Surely the reason is that we're not good enough? Look at Oxford they signed Taylor who's virtually guaranteed to score 15+ goals but we hoped Hanlan and Ayunga would score a similar amount, even though Hanlan only scored 4 last season and Ayunga was only playing at NSL level i.e. the same level we send out the likes of youngsters like Mehew just to get experience. I can't understand how Wael & Starnes could sit back and watch BG/TW put such a poor squad together then not take action to rectify the issues in January. Now to top it all JB's claiming there's similar issues with the medical staff. |

Keep doing that and you score eventually. Its that simple. |
