Surely the reason is that we're not good enough? Look at Oxford they signed Taylor who's virtually guaranteed to score 15+ goals but we hoped Hanlan and Ayunga would score a similar amount, even though Hanlan only scored 4 last season and Ayunga was only playing at NSL level i.e. the same level we send out the likes of youngsters like Mehew just to get experience. I can't understand how Wael & Starnes could sit back and watch BG/TW put such a poor squad together then not take action to rectify the issues in January. Now to top it all JB's claiming there's similar issues with the medical staff. What are the issues with the medical staff? Nicholson's been left on the shelf waiting over a month for his surgery |

Next Season - Players to be retained
I think most supporters would agree with Jakkola, Nicholson and McCormick as being players they would like retained. Rodman and Ozthumer have hardly had any game time this season so I would like them still to be available especially as it is difficult to get good midfield / attacking players? I have also liked Zain Walker for the few times he has been picked.
Kilgour should stay as well?
Leahy has a few mistakes in him but would probably retain him than lose him for his energy and “toughness”?
A controversial choice to retain would be Ayunga. With the lack of midfield creativity, attackers have to make their own chances. I think he will get better and better with more experience and a better midfield supply! Just like JCH you cannot criticise his effort and work rate?
Another would be Joe Day as 2nd keeper. With a defence like ours, I think he played his part in keeping scores down and has been unfairly criticised?
Grant - not sure about him.
Baldwin - as a Posh mate of mine said “always has a mistake in him”!
Hare - always liked him but not been given a run this season?
Others - wouldn’t miss them?
Could be a few West Country derbies coming up especially if Torquay and maybe Yeovil sneak in to L2?

PS Training staff need to teach basic footballing skills to our players! Maybe take them to watch a few U15 / U16 school games? May learn a few things?

Just realised Lincoln had their two regular centrehalves, centreforward, Captain and vice Captain all out injured today.
I would suggest at least that kept the margin of victory down to a slim one.

To be fair we were missing our best two players Rodman and Nicholson along with our Captain (Ehmer) and Grant. Oh and we've played the entire season without a centre-forward.
