Bradford City are a fair bit larger club than us and they’ve struggled in League Two over the last two seasons. They finished as close to the relegation zone as they did to the playoffs this year. Salford will probably have a bigger budget than us, I’d imagine clubs like Swindon, Mansfield, Northampton, Tranmere (if they don’t go up) will have similar budgets to us. Clubs like Forest Green, Exeter and Newport always punch above their weight. Will be tough IMO, I would see reaching the playoffs as a successful season. swindon have off field troubles & i reckon we will have a bigger budget than Northampton, but it's about who recruits smartest in my opinion, I definitely feel League 2 on paper is going to be weaker next year, but that's on paper. Who knows in the summer some teams could splash

If we show the same silly mistakes in league 2 we'll be crucified, its an unforgiving league, smaller teams but a tougher game with lesser scoring games, Couple that with those looking to be giant killers, its going to be a very bumpy ride, I want us to be in the top 6 but expect us to be mid table. Dont forget it wasn't that long ago we dropped out of league 2... We're not bullet proof Agreed on all that pal, except th ‘giant killers’ bit, we gotta stop thinkin were giants in League Two...IMO we are not. I'm of the same opinion. It was more a case of those other teams thinking we're big and wanting to topple us, you know.. kind of bully the new kid in the playground. Thats really what I was getting at

I remember all this talk at the end of last season. We were going up. Top four finish. Mid-table. All faith was put into our new manager, that had only had a dozen or so games? He knew what he was doing, H.M.S. P1ss the league.. Does all this sound weirdly familiar??? Gotta admit I got a little caught up in it myself, and christ does it sting now. I'm not falling for it again this season. Cautious skepticism from here on

It will be a tough league and frankly I would take a top half finish to stop the rot.

As depressing as that league currently looks and as deluded as I am, I will be disappointed if we don’t go straight back up with a top 3 automatic finish. We aren't even in the top 3 of the current relegated sides. An enormous amount of work to do by Joey and the coaches to turn this sinking ship around and makes us a top 3 side next year. Certainly possible but I have no expectations of it.

Totally agree, there is more chance of a successive relegation than promotion, our decline this season has been breathtaking and JB will have a massive job to do to arrest that, just look at the data /stats ,truly appalling.

Appalling is the word.Such a sorry state we are in.Was fantasising that by now we might have at least one new proper stand but we are drifting downwards and that heady afternoon of Browners late promotion clinching winner seems yet another fantasy now.

In the end we’re all League 2 clubs. Big club / small club meh.... our performances on and off the field have led to us being where we are. I hope everyone associated with BRFC develops some fight and don’t assume any sense of entitlement. UTG!

The likes of Bradford, Salford and Mansfield in the last 2 seasons have proven that club size or budget don't equal success in L2. Bolton struggled until February as well. We need to be professional, respectful and humble in the face of good teams like Morecambe, Harrogate etc. I can't see any game being easy.

Was chat to a good friend who is a Bolton supporter and he said they only got going after the stopped playing powder puff players and put "some muscle" in the team.... A very hard league to get out off and kick and run is the order of the day

Anyone who thinks we will just waltz back up next season is either on drugs or deluded or very naive,I'm expecting a hard tough battle to even make the play offs, fifty years watching football has taught me that, feel free to disagree but I think I'll be proven correct. I expect us to win the league... and I love drugs
