Surprised nobody has had a meltdown yet that it’s almost July and we haven’t heard anything about the new kit. Id bet good money that Blackpool supporters are not worried anymore that their team played the first six weeks of the season just past in the previous seasons kit.

Then you would have lost good money, because Blackpool fans weren’t best pleased. The club really lost out by not capitalising on the summer hype generated by season ticket sales and signings, if the club were to repeat that it would be a big mistake.

Care to offer any comment on the post that confirms that Wael actually did have talks with an outside developer or will you choose to ignore it when lies and misinformed is proven incorrect?

Unless we're a top 7 side next season then there's only a certain number of shirts we'll sell next season and they'll be bought whenever they go on sale.

when i have met with directors regarding the mem in the past, which included spending most of a morning walking around the Mem, i was clearly told that the club would not be developing the stadium because it is poorly located within a residential area and the transport links are poor, although there was talk about introducing a park and ride scheme to the Mem. Design of the stadium is very poor and 80% of it would have to be flattened and rebuilt under any re-development. In view of this and the fact that fans are coming on here saying they don't think the club is going to build a new stadium it looks like we could be stuck at the Mem in it's present form for along time yet, depressing and not want i want to hear. If the club fail to find a site away from the Mem to develop a new stadium, (vegi site sounds very costly, could cost nearly as much to purchase as to build on) and we stay at the Mem any re-development would not be huge and maximum capacity we could get bearing in mind location would not be more than 15,000. Think a redevelopment of the Mem transforming it to a modern 21st century stadium with a capacity of 15000 would be fine and i for one would welcome it. Until we try and get to the ground for the first sell out match and find every road blocked with cars? Although the FM seems no better on that score.

Wael for me, is doing a fantastic job, bank rolling the club, building the training ground, brilliant; I am sure when he can afford it he will have a go at building a stadium, in the meaning he is backing Joey on the road to getting BRFC back into div 1, great work.

I know the people who sit near me and i always enjoy the atmosphere. I dislike the concrete stadiums that lack any personality and think that the atmosphere will suffer if the stadium is laid out differently. I couldnt give a tinker's cuss if someone from Sunderland or Carlisle thinks that our ground is rubbish . Isnt it a case of " better the devil...."

Im not sure how well shared my thoughts are regarding the state of the ground and how it prevents people from going. I haven't been to the Mem much in the last 6 years. One of the main reasons for this is that I think it is unsuitable for my children. Therefore I dont take them and Bristol Rovers have lost 3 kids who would probably have had STs with their Dad. No disrespect to those of you who do think ots ok and suitable but I don't. I won't put my girls through the experience of needing the toilet, which is a p!ss stained portaloo surrounded by foul mouthed louts flicking fag ends on the floor. It's 2021 not 1970.

Are you feeling OK? Absolutely tip-top, off to the cricket club in a bit, for a day of runs, wickets and pints; the Wael bashing is interesting, as I would say "find another one", as I do not see anybody else coming forward with any real money, that is truly serious about buying the club and taking it another direction. For now, really happy to support Wael; look what's going on at Swindon, not good.

If you haven’t been much in the last 6 years, there is better provision for families with kids in the family stand and the South stand may suit as well. Promises are for more this season as well to keep the kids amused before the game. Having said that, You’d probably find that the kids are more accepting than you think.

Obviously the redevelopment would take place in tandem with the new Transport for Bristol initiative which would include the' Memorial' underground station and above ground 'tram' stops! no facility for old fashion things like cars! every thing will have been thought of!

I think you’ll find that we’ve accrued a lot of debt since then. £3 million a year loss was an optimistic figure being bandied about, going by that we’re now in £6 million of debt, possibly and quite probably more with no sustainability in sight as I suspect the new signings cost a few bob. That’s more debt then we were ever in under Higgs I say. The supposed debt that got wiped away? Equity, and equity that no prospective owner will want to take on. So either Wael pays an extortionately high bar tab, which is growing I might add, later on or we’ll find ourselves in a lot of trouble. Hence my concerns. When will Wael run out of funds to foot this, soon. Maybe very soon if the poster Swiss on the other forum is correct in his calculations of high much Wael actually has. Swiss is a bull sh**ter and knows nothing. I repeat nothing

If he wasnt an ex-player no one would give a jot. As for his former team mates, they have all gone as well. Football changes quickly, as does the personnel. Getting the sack is one thing, being treated badly is something else, and you dont know how he has been treated. If he wasn’t someone who’s contributed a lot to the club, no-one would give a jot. See your contradiction there? No one does give a jot, because everyone knows we have too many background staff. He played for the club, so what I can name dozens of players who have played for the club and not been given a job.

I don’t think you can say he’s aiming in the wrong direction at least, last time we took a step backwards we turned around and took 2 steps forward. I believe we can do that again. Utg People who accept defeat, will never achieve net success. That’s just a fact. We got 2 relegations last time, followed by 2 promotions and now a relegations. That’s 2 promotions and 3 relegations. A net result of one step in the wrong direction. It’s time Rovers fans stopped being lackeys and started having some ambition. In wanting something new, different for the football club, I believe I’ve showed plenty of that in this thread.Think you wanted the old couching staff to stay put

Had it confirmed to me today that Wael is giving Joey a L1 budget to get us out of L2 at the first attempt. By who? If true is is good thing because we have a lot of duffers still here on contracts
