If I weren’t a season-ticket holder but attended a fair few games a season I would happily pay the £30 to enable me to have a good chance of getting a ticket if we drew a good cup tie & there was a limited amount of tickets available especially away. How many times over the years have you heard fans moaning that they know others who only go once in a blue moon get tickets when they themselves who attend fairly regularly couldn’t get one. I expect a few fans wish the membership scheme was in place a few years back when we had Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Just saw this quoted a post or two back. That whole situation was bullshit. I wish the whole online ticketing system was in place back then. There were season ticket holders offering out their priority ticket to complete strangers under the impression they were doing something nice for someone and helping them get a ticket. Little did they understand their ‘kind act’ stopped season ticket holders genuinely entitled to priority access to get a ticket to the game before they sold. Still angry about this now, and yes I was one of the ST holders who missed out.

I have paid the £40 membership fee, I rarely miss a home game and have always done a couple of away games B.C (Before Covid) but I can’t bring myself to buy a season ticket I have been a Gashead since 1973 and only held one once in the Ian Atkins Era so I’m a bit superstitious

Would be nice to know how many season ticket and membership holders we have. Could end up with more members than tickets for certain games. Rather like a certain airline having priority boarding and 90% of people being in that queue. I've seen it, they weren't happy.

I do. Two leagues apart in the football pyramid and can’t even make any comparison to them in infrastructure and stadium. Why ? Does it really matter in your day to day life or is it just for the banter with your 💩 mates ? Would you be happy if they were playing in the bottom tier alongside us in a crap ground , or would you only be happy if we were in the championship with a half decent stadium and a billionaire pumping in millions of pounds every season to tread water ? I would love to play them twice a year as we have a generation who have never known a derby match. If you don’t care then I have no problem with that but I used to love Derby games and the banter & bragging rights, if we won. In a two team city we will always have outsuders draw comparisons and to have Bolton fans say the mem is like Chernobyl didn’t feel good to me

I’m more concerned that Cheltenham with a smaller stadium, smaller crowds is in a league above than I am by a club bank rolled by a billionaire. I’m sure if we were we’d have a decent stadium and championship footy to watch . It’s all about the Wonga !!

The height restriction was dealt with by the 82 so I don’t see any reason why we couldn’t do the same. I hope that it will be sooner than later, where we can all see a Derby match again. There is something very special about that game and I’d love to feel the adrenalin pumping again.

What's the bet the same people moaning about this will be moaning later in the year about how we're decades behind City 🤪 Whatever we do, we are now very much behind the 82. They are prem ready. It’s nothing to do with moaning, it’s fact. We can only dream of the ground and facilities that they have and an owner who is prepared to keep throwing money at them plus who is spiteful enough to derail any hint of progress at Rovers. You can call it moaning if it helps but there is no arguing with fact They won't be "prem ready" until they stop finishing 12th in the second tier. That's a fact.

Point taken but they are buying players at 14 million. That is a mark , just one tiny one and however much you may not like it, of how far ahead of us they are Personally, I have never felt that hate as my dad took us to both teams home games, I chose Rovers but have a great many city friends. Tell me, do you see us coming close to catching them up, in honesty ? Yes, they are our rivals but the truth is that we can only dream of being in their position. One thing where we are exactly the same is that we could be in the same position but we would still have those who challenge the owner and direction. We are no different in that aspect

Evening. Apologise if this is the wrong thread to post my query on, whenever I travel Away I drive so have no experience of the Supporters Club Travel. My son (15) and a few of his mates want to go away, and I'm wondering what the best way to travel is, they aren't a very loud bunch so intimidating behaviour whilst travelling may put them off forever and I don't want that!😂. So if anyone on here uses the supporters travel what is the atmosphere like on the coaches? Thanks all.

I think it’s a good idea, for ppl like me who only go every couple of years. It’s an opportunity to feel part of the club and contribute financially.

I was quite happy to travel on them on my own, if the usual suspects couldn't make it. Sometimes there was a bit of a noisier element sitting at the back, but nothing untoward, and the SC have a steward on each coach.

I have been in previous seasons on the supporters coach. It not at all rowdy and there is no alcohol allowed on the coach. Usually stops off at McDonalds or such like in the services on the way up. I would happily go on my own without any worry.
