I know demand is normally very low for friendlies but after well over a year stuck watching on iPads there will be more interest than normal. If capacity is still partially limited it could get tricky and as a ST Holder I’d be annoyed to miss out if they are sold on a first come first served general sale basis. Blimey …. Talk about Me, Me , Me Better if they gave tickets to schools to try and get kids involved and reduce the average age of our fan base - maybe even throw in a free scarf or something. Would do the same for the trophy that very few S/T holders support but everyone will scream for tickets if we got to Wembley. Yep, get the schools to have a pre match game at the Mem 12pm kick off. 4 schools or a couple of teams from 2 schools. Feed and water them, then free tickets in the uplands for a match with a scarf, hat, whatever. The club must do something to get youngsters through the door because presently, we are way off.

Yep we really need to up our game with schools etc.Bristol Airport too we are conspicuous by the absence of any Gas representation. At Crewe my Grandson 6,gets in free if accompanied by an Adult also free for selected games in a special youngsters enclosure. Not sure the allure of Barrow etc will entice youngsters but we do need to be more pro active.

Rovers could give away 5000 kids tickets every game whilst in league 1/2

Don’t see the problem with ST holders getting priority even if it is friendlies. Those that didn’t ask for a refund last year did our bit to help keep the club afloat and I believe our names are up at the training ground. I don’t think it’s selfish at all to expect to be able to buy a ticket for a preseason game. Totally agree about enticing young fans to home games. Part of my decision to follow Rovers came in the early 80’s playing on a small pitch in front of the Eastville crowd before we played Wigan in an initiative by Canon who were the league sponsors at the time.

So bath city beat larkhall 5-1, gas draw with melksham 1-1. Same league. Jerry Gill quoted as saying "it could of been 10". It's pre season and we have many excuses but its not inspiring is it?

How long does it take to realise that pre-season friendly results mean absolutely nothing!
The harder your pre-season the more likely you’ll get some dodgy results in the friendlies.

ST holders not entitled to priority to friendlies - Get a grip mate - We got discounted iFollow, cup matches etc., Tight fisted

I’m not asking for a discount. I’d like to see the most dedicated fans (which are season ticket holders) getting the opportunity to watch the first game we’ve had at the Mem for sixteen months.

Only priority, doesn’t reduce the number of supporters who can buy a ticket just means those with lower priority can’t buy the tickets weeks in advance.
