It's shocking. Surely now even those of you who are vaxxed etc can see that this is wrong. If they were going to make it impossible to avoid, why not make it compulsory in the first place? By making it a choice you are giving people exactly that. Now it is nothing short of coercion and blackmail which is bang out of order. This could get ugly. On the plus side, it will encourage more people to get the vaccine. Regardless of your opinion on the vaccine , This is truly worrying that this type of coercion is now being used, who knows where it will end.

It's your civic duty to get protection for both yourself, family and others in society you are on contact with. Refusal is not an option of getting a trustworthy life saving vaccine. Keep unvaccinated people away from venues. Anyone turning down an opportunity of a free jab should not be treated in hospital if they catch covid. Harsh but NHS has to treat the citizens awaiting hip, knee, cancer and other ops not spend their time on those who clog up beds in hospital because they refuse can't be bothered to be vaccinated in my view. The NHS has better things to concentrate on saving lives and improving the health of its responsible citizens. How many are in hospital currently? How many on the NHS waiting list? Valance just said that 60% of admissions are double jabbed. Therefore even if everybody was vaccinated,a huge number of people will be clogging up the beds that we all pay for. Jeez, what a mess.

It's only worrying for those who were paranoid already and will use this as justification of their paranoia.

Over 5 million routine and critical operations have been held up on the NHS waiting list. Covid care stopped many ops and clearly despite many shielding in lockdown they if waiting need now to have their ops. Antivax people are at risk and more likely to end up on hospital which could be eliminated to a great extent if they got their jabs.

They are professional and treat patients with the care that they need. Druggies, Joyriders, Drunks who fall over, 40 a day smokers, may be a bit demoralising though..

The science suggests less will die if the vaccine uptake is very large. Covid will not go away just because we want it to, the Government has probably now realized this, and it looks as though the country will in due course move to a policy of freedoms only for the vaccinated, isolation, job losses and misery for the unvaccinated. Not a desirable outcome but then nothing about Covid is desirable.

This is your quote "Gas Goes Marching In" from the Caz thread.I don't mean she deserves the abuse or anything like that. What I mean is people have an opinion and get made to feel sh** for having their opinion and get called things like rape apologists. Admittedly I was guilty of this myself the other day when I felt strongly about something but we do need to allow for some freedom of speech. Not hatred, just some people will have a different opinion to the mainstream and that is OK.Why not put this into practise? quite ironic looking at your posts on this thread.

I’m not paranoid and so are thousands of others that don’t want this vaccine , can’t keep tearing people with the same brush. It is very worrying that this is being pushed onto people but like I said , me , my wife and my kids will never be taking it so we’ll have to see how it all pans out , if I’m unable to attend football , I won’t , if I can’t attend a pub , I won’t ( fortunately my family have their own pub so that won’t be a big issue)

No, you need to stop saying ‘selfish’ as like I’ve said to you before , you don’t know the reasons for people’s refusal so you can’t judge , all you’re doing is generalising and making assumptions.

It's my opinion. You might disagree with it and their reason might not be selfish to them but the ultimate effects of their decision make them selfish, yes.
