Even stood outside? We are talking festivals, fairgrounds, waterparks, campsites? Crazy. At "entertainment venues" which is being taken to include football matches. Not much entertaining about Rovers... perhaps we should be excluded?

I think within this thread we need to agree to disagree. We all have different opinions but everyone needs to respect everyone's choices there's no right or wrong no matter how strong you feel about it on either side. Vaccinated or unvaccinated i believe we are all making decisions based on what we feel is best for our selves and others. Bring on the football in August. Anybody refusing to have a vaccine is clearly not thinking about other people but simply themselves. This is your narrow minded opinion. Point proven right here.

Just asking, do you have the flu jab ? Pirate has been scalded. I don't have it though, I might of when I was at school but not since. just wondered because they only have a very short timescale to develop a jab to cover 3 variants of the covid type flu infections and they are not widely tested before manufacture

I jes wish they’d find a vaccination ta prevent folk arguing continuously getting nowhere. 😃 They have. It's called Marriage. You are always wrong so no need to argue. The side effects of nagging headache and ear ache. Side effects can be treated with beer. And football.

Pirate isn't going to debate it though. This is to counter the uncertainty of covid vax testing period? Surely the revised flu jab is just a slight mod each time? The side effects and long-term risks will be known. It isn't compulsory either.

Just seen an article on bbc that the discriminatory passports will be for events over 20 thousand only.
If rovers insist on going down this route I shall be jacking in 27 consecutive years of season tickets and expecting a refund.
I am double jabbed, got my first in feb second one may but I’m afraid I won’t support anywhere that demand people have this as condition of entry, utterly wrong it’s an individual choice. I also fully expect should Rovers take this stance no one under the age of 18 by rights should then also be granted entry.

That could cause a disturbance in football grounds as the capacities are above and below that figure.

I should add to the above post I have no problem with Rovers requiring someone who does not want or can not have the vaccination to take a test 24 hours before the game or show they have had COVID but vaccination only is just plain wrong IMO.

So the well tested, but yearly tweaked vax for the flu (which is a coronavirus) is OK because it has good results and low side effects. But the variant that treats erm... coronavirus isn't alright? There is cognitive dissonance going on somewhere.

If it is 20,000 then Rovers will no involvement in the decision, unless the Mem has been expended during lockdown. Regardless Rovers would have no choice if that's the decision the Government make. Although I can't see how attending a game with 10,000 fans is going to be any safer than a 20,000+ attendence.

Yeah to be honest Topper the way the article read, I think the government are going to target things like indoor ‘big’ events/ concerts, premier league darts etc for vaccination only, there was a live dropped in the article that ‘outdoor’ sports would be COVID certification where you could show vaccine test or antibodies but we shall see.

Someone has just told me that it’s COVID passports for stadium capacity of over 16,000. If true then another strange ruling by our government.
Looks like it will be the vaxers who will have the choice to make now.
You like making your own choice anyway.

Most press articles are suggesting no decisions have been made, so I'm not sure where these 16K, 20K figures are actually coming from. Probably like a lot of Government "leaks" they are just testing the general publics reactions, it seems odd you can now shop/use public transport etc without even a mask but have to be double vaccinated to attend a sporting event.
