That must surely be the end of Jim as Chairman. He should do the honourable thing and resign immediately. He is Ken Masters' puppet, and with Jim gone, so Ken's scheming should end.
The rest of the committee are genuine Gasheads but it really is time for fresh faces.
A wholesale review of the SC purpose and how it plans to achieve it is required. I'm not sure the committee has this capability though.
An EGM is required to change the timing of the voting system for the election of fan directors (elections are currently limited to the month of June).
It's good that Wael is open to fans directors coming on to the board of the football club. Need people with a strong constitution to put their names forward.
If the SC don't heed Wael's words, then he should invite fans director applications and sideline the SC once and for all.

Taking away a 50/50 fund raising draw organised by SC since 1996 is being used to stop the SC having any way of sustainability. Taking this stance and asking volunteers to continue selling programmes but presumably not as representatives of the SC is another way of causing a rift.
The SC needs to be independent and if they feel something within the Football Club is not in the interests of the fans then they should be able to approach the club with constructive criticism.

SC are full of sad old men who never got over the fact they don't get fed tidbit info from the top table anymore. The CT is actually fit for purpose, does amazing work and in my opinion should look into a membership structure.

Of course, this is exactly what anyone would want and expect from a SC. Do you think our SC has been doing a decent job of it, recently?

The letter certainly contradicts a lot that has come out of the BRSC these last months. I note also that the £50k donation towards the training ground was agreed back in 2017 not a sudden demand as has been suggested by some in the BRSC - So what is the truth? Why would the SC agree to contribute £50K towards a training ground we don't own, as there were no signs the land at the Almondsbury was going to be developed at that time? The misappropriated SC funds were recovered around that time so the SC could well have agreed to pay £50K over to the club, but agreeing to contribute towards the training ground seems an odd one.

Surely the best way to do that is via the Fans Director but for some unknown reasons the SC Committee refuse to put forward their representative? The other issue is claiming Wael was "unfit" but then never informing him why they came to that view.

It still seems odd to me to agree to pay £50K into a project which was showing no signs of starting at that time. Although everything seems odd about the relationship between the club and the SC/PC.

The CT is actually fit for purpose, does amazing work and in my opinion should look into a membership structure. Only three men and five women on their committee. The Community Trust is an independent self funding organisation. Why would they want members to do what exactly?

The SC needs to be independent and if they feel something within the Football Club is not in the interests of the fans then they should be able to approach the club with constructive criticism. Sorry, but I can't agree with your point. The rules of the 50/50 (https://bristolroverssc.co.uk/50-50-rules/) indicate that:
1) 50%* of the net value of the tickets sold for each Investing In Youth draw will be allocated to the Academy at Bristol Rovers Football Club to be spent on previously agreed objectives.
2) 50%* of the net value of the tickets sold for each Investing In Youth draw will constitute the cash prize(s) for that draw, or a subsequent Super Draw if the prize is unclaimed.
...
There may have been tweaks to the allocation that are not reflected in the online published rules, but none of the 50/50 draw should be sticking around to make the Supporters Club sustainable, to use your words.
I get the point of an independent supporters voice, but rather than trying to hold Wael to account, the current SC leadership has pursued petty vendettas since very early in the Al Qadi ownership.

Wael's letter mentions a meeting on the 2nd November 2017 at which it was agreed to hand the £50k over- this obviously is at odds with the comments from the supporters club earlier in the week. If such an agreement was made then it was obviously recorded somewhere - possibly with signed minutes of the meeting - and so should be easy to show either way.

Is the Supporters Club actually fit for purpose any longer?
Surely it was formed to be a club for like minded supporters, to in-turn, support our football club. Is it that any longer? I join, in order to get access to away tickets, the same as I do the helpline, but receive absolutely no communication from them, year on year, not even a reminder or request to join up for the next season, or any invites to AGMs, meetings, events etc. So what do supporters get from it? Absolutely nothing.
It has morphed over the years into a negative, divisive, bunch of egotists, who will do anything within their power to cause rifts, friction, and trouble. And they have the brass neck to call themselves supporters!
How long has this been going on now? How many times do we hear of fall-outs, people thrown out, arguments, lies, members so p***ed off they leave to support other clubs!
They need to be reigned in, and I'm glad that Wael is finally seeing what a sad bunch of negative relics we have 'running' what should be an enjoyable club for supporters. The whole shower should be scrapped, and we should start from scratch, providing a Bristol Rovers Supporters Club we can all be proud of.

Question for them that know:
Do Ken or Brian attend games regularly? now they are (for want of a better word) ‘normal fans’?

I don't see how the two statements necessarily contradict. It's possible the SC agreed to giving the money, and then later, when it hadn't been given, the club told them (or asked them) to hand it over, as per their previous agreement. The SC statement already said they were intending to spend it on training ground stuff, so it's pretty clear that everyone was happy that the money would be going to the Quarters, it's just they're arguing over how.

Brian has regularly attended matches both home and away as a real fan since ceasing to become a director. He was stood on the terraces last Tuesday. As for the other one I cannot comment other than I believe he is the source of the rift

If he cares about the SC he will immediately step down and walk away to give it any hope of being salvaged. I suspect though he's in it for himself and would sooner see it burn than give up the power of corridors.
