Underwhelmed with what the fact we haven't announced who we're signing tomorrow? There's just 4 L2 transfer showing on the BBC website today so it's not like we're the only club not announcing any transfers today. Ah I hadn’t updated the BBC today … so not underwhelmed then. Happy to accept it - Tomorrow all will be fine. …. Silly Me. You should know, it's all part of a cunning plan. |

It's exactly the recipe that saw Yeovil and Leyton Orient back in the conference. Thought you've always blamed Yeovil's demise on their over reliance on the loan market? If we got promoted with the present squad only Rodman, Pitman and possibly Hughes and Coutts could be considered to old, replacing those, plus any oldies we sign this week, hardly seems a major task. Well Given that zero tasks have been undertaken well so far....any faith? |

Looks like it's going to need to be a spectacular Tuesday lol. It needs to be or we are non league again next season. In all fairness signing 4/5 or even Two very good L2 players is going to make the difference between us staying up or going down this year, forget promotion talk as that's pie in the sky! Joey Barton will ultimately leave this club later this year or before the season ends, when we are in the bottom two in December or when his court cases happen and the club acts. He could walk before as the excuses he uses are unbelievable and it's only a matter of time before he turns on Wael, the clubs infrastructure and us fans.Anyone but him is to blame. And I say this as I was a fan of his before the season started but his recent actions take the Mick. We need 4/5 signings of good L1 quality so the next manager has something to work with to keep us up.Its that bad for us right now don't fool yourself to think otherwise. |

It's what we do. We sign decent players and make them sh** while they're with us, then get rid, then they most likely will recapture their form at their new club. I have little doubt that the same will happen with Hanlan and Westbrooke. |

We always go through these phases at Rovers, where we fancy ourselves at the beginning of the season and claim to be putting together the best squad for division ect ect. I remember it well last time we got relegated from League One. It seems to me as if we do better when we’re unfancied, when we put a squad together that’s more than the sum of its parts and go under the radar. We never cope with the favourites tag very well and this season seems to be proving that once more. |

Of course I could be speaking too soon as the day is not yet over but so far nothing today. Looks like tomorrow will be one busy day, otherwise it looks like it will be a repeat of last season but with a worse squad and a worse manager with less strikers at the club.

Jacob Blyth also released from his short term contract by Oldham. 6 foot 3 striker and 29. Though he's not meant to be very good...so he'll fit right in! Only signed for them this month - sounds ideal! |

Well it looks like you can announce them today but the paperwork won’t be completed until tomorrow. BBC transfer site is already showing three EFL done deals with tomorrow’s date including Joe Garner… 31 August English Football League Joe Garner [Apoel - Fleetwood Town] Free Herbie Kane [Barnsley - Oxford United] Loan Christian Walton [Brighton - Ipswich] Loan Was hoping Garner was an option for us - hey ho. Seems like the paperwork could be done today…just that the BBC forgot what day it was! All the above are now showing as complete on 30th August. |
