This feels like xmas Eve as a kid, and I had pinned all my hopes on a Raleigh chopper, and didn't get it because my parents didn't have the money, other than Cameron Archer the others sound uninspiring to me.
I dont know anymore what our DNA plan is, the Garner plan seemed joined up, get younger hungry players develop them and sell them on, now its predominantly elder players who ve done it around the block, and kinda of last payday time.
You can slag me off but kind of losing interest in them, will be there for the home games but haven't the time or inclination to go away, due to abject performances and some behaviour which I dont want Archie to see.

I’ve heard we’re signing Antony Evans,Leon Clarke,Glenn Whelan,Junior Brown and a loanee from Villa maybe Archer. Evans and Whelan seem like reasonable signings (Crewe and Morecambe fans seemed keen for Evans to sign permanently) Brown and Clarke are past it but could seemingly fill a gap in the squad, and Archer would be a great addition, though I would be reluctant to pin all my hopes on a young loanee. There’s no way Archer is coming. He has Championship teams after him and Villa are considering keeping him around the 1st team! |

Took a drive up to the quarters after work Thursday evening players were just leaving training. I definitely passed Junior Brown near the entrance so maybe there's truth in these players. |

Don't See Villa loaning Archer to the championship IF they do allow him to go out on loan as they will want him playing regularly so far more chance he ends up in league 1 or 2 if we are getting a Villa player It could be Aaron Ramsey. |

I think there is a good chance of it being Archer if Villa do let him out. Alot of Villa's better youngsters have already gone out on loan just Archer, Ramsey and Bogarde left of those 3 Archer would be the most likely we would go for as we are well stocked in the positions the other 2 play. |

Villa are smart with loaning their young players out and if he's promised a starting spot in League Two I'm sure that would offer a better alternative to being bench fodder for someone like Luton or Blackpool. Kesler at Swindon is a good example - One of the jewels of Villa's academy and loaned out to our division, where he's thriving. |

See he didn’t have any assists or goals last season though. Is he more of a link up man? Gets the ball moving around the middle etc? |
