I think he would be a good signing. Eye for a pass, can travel with ball, can score, loves a freekick, offers versatility in midfield, plenty of potential for improvement. See he didn’t have any assists or goals last season though. Is he more of a link up man? Gets the ball moving around the middle etc? If that's the 5 players we do sign then it's just like last summer, with no obvious goal scorers other than Pitman, who's hardly looks the fittest of strikers. Plus we'll have so many CM's it's hard to see how we'll fit them all into the match day squad. |

I’d say he can do both but only Played 6 games last season for Crewe. |

Can do a job in a wide role, as a number '10' or an '8'. As for his time at Crewe, I only saw his appearance against us where he impressed. Must have done something right as I understand they wanted to sign him permanently but couldn’t afford him. |

He’s now heard the bell for last orders, is frantically checking his pockets for some spare change while his best mate does a runner to catch the last taxi available and here is our Joey with only the dregs of his pint and the landlord shouts TIME……. |

Maybe worth a call to paddy madden. Only joined Stockport less than 6 months ago on a three-and-a-half-year deal for a fee rumoured around £250,000. |

The current thought on squad size is 22 not including keepers. If true we have space for four in today.

We will be lucky to get more than one in the door, other than the two free ageing free agents that have been training with us. They aren't the future and would only be a stop gap for a few months or this season tops. We are in a complete mess and unless something drastic happens today, have failed to resolve the striker issue yet again. If we don't we are in real trouble.
