Belshaw is only 30, coming into his prime. Van der Sar was still playing for Man Utd when he was 40! I'm really not convinced about Belshaw. How many clean sheets has he kept this season and in that game, how many shots on target were there by the opposition? He's hardly put a foot wrong aside from a few stray goal kicks.

If Whelan can perform consistently to a similar level to what he did when he first came to the Mem with Fleetwood then we've got a quality player on our hands. Absolutely ran the show that day.

No, the board hatched the plan then looked for a coach to fit the plan. Part of it driven to cut the wage bill. Correct. It was actually a good plan, it was just executed really poorly. The board have then bottled it and gotten themselves into an almighty muddle. It's amazing how much of a mess we've gotten into, due to the board's incompetence. Agreed the concept is good, it provides stability and the club having continuity with how it plays football, how it develops players etc, but recruitment has to be correct. What we got wrong was a shortage of senior players and the obvious lack of a recognised striker. We effective had a squad incapable of competing in League One when that should be a requisite

Rumoured that we're bringing in George Lloyd tomorrow on loan from Cheltenham. I thought Leon Clarke was scraping the barrel! We’ve let Ayunga, Daly and Hanlan go, albeit Hanlan probably drove that situation. We’ve replaced them with Pitman (not fit/short term solution), Collins (will hopefully come good), Saunders (runs around a lot and will hopefully come good) and now potentially Clarke and Lloyd.. Nothing against these fellas but are we really upgrading??!

We desperately need a physical focal point, Leon Clarke just isn't the answer.

Rumoured that we're bringing in George Lloyd tomorrow on loan from Cheltenham. Don't think it will be us. Lloyd not yet fulfilled the potential that saw him score 40 in one season for the u18s/reserves, but at age of 21 obviously still young and developing and will be hoping that early potential breaks through into the mens game at some point soon.

Hoping it isn't us to be honest, seems a good prospect but we need the finished article.

Well it needs to be … on the transfer front.
Expectations from me …. Pretty low other than Clarke + Whelan in and a surprise or two.
Jakkola - Westbrooke - Barrett all out - i truly hope he hangs on to Alfie .

Surely we need another keeper if we lose Ansii?
