The problem with Annsi could be that to continue to play at International level even third choice he may be expected to be playing regularly above League 2 level. Henbury Gas can hardly see that the players JB has brought in shows he is out of touch with the Transfer market. Instead quite the opposite. the importance of gelling the players together can be seen with several of our players from last season continuing to ply their trade in League 1. I would say our squad now consists of much better quality players but only time will tell whether they can gell to a good side. How are FGR doing with an inexperienced manager, 4 wins! Swindle with a new squad and an inexperienced manager 3 wins and a draw! Not seen much proof on the pitch we have better payers than last season. Well it isn't the fans. It isn't lack of money. It isn't the Stadium. That leaves 2. The squad and the Manager. |

James Norwood from Ipswich aged 30 and Paul Cook had probably offered him to Joey his mate. Banned recently drink driving but clearly a goalscorer at this level with Tranmere and scored fair few at Forest Green. Not so many at Ipswich.
Might be worth signing.

If that's the case why shouldn't we able to engage in transfer activity, wherever it is ins or outs. We certainly need to be doing so as a matter of urgency I would suggest. |

Whilst rumours of a player’s wages are often exaggerated on Internet forums and social media, Norwood is on a top end L1 pay deal and would unlikely fit in many lower league club pay structures. Salford and Wrexham could I daresay accommodate him, not so sure many others could including us…although I bet we’re frantically doing the sums as the deadline draws nearer. He’s also been missing a lot through injury which makes justification to pay those sums all the harder. |

I keep checking here for possible announcements, I don’t know why as I’m sure I’ll be underwhelmed. I reckon we’ll see the announcements of Whelan and Clarke to come in ( who I don’t think are the answers ) and a couple to go out. Hopefully I’m wrong .......

Anssi's spent most of that time out injured but was, oddly, fully fit during the Euro's. Kilgour's totally lost his way following Craig's departure, perhaps 6 months of regular football elsewhere is just what he needs to get his career back on track. |
